with the launch edition cars, you get what you get, they are coming at at $330-370k depending on the misc 'carbon' and other options. my car was $331k no carbon at all.

if you place a custom order they are looking at April delivery. If was placing a custom order it would have been around $321k.

curious what are the average cost of a decently equipped 720S? and anyone know the wait time if an order is placed today?

very stable, they must be increasing power/boost as the speed increases....

fcuk the 720 is fast!!! Does it feel pretty planted being only RWD?

I believe they limit revs in first and second. I imagine they are doing other tricks to but the performance side is the bit they have definitely got right.

Thanks for documenting all this.

I think you're right. They might be using boost by gear. It looks like it has more than 720 hp.

revs aren't limited, it pulls to redline, but I'm sure the boost or something else is, they do a great job of managing the power...

Turbos, direct injection and dual clutches have given the mfrs the tools to be incredibly efficient in making power and putting it all down. You bet the 720 makes more than 720hp but controls boost, timing, fuel, clutch slippage, etc to extract every bit of performance, especially at lower speeds.
