SuperCars of Florida - anyone know WHO they are?

Anyone know who these guys are? For some reason they decided to use a logo that belongs to the Lamborghini Club America.

In 2012 we sat with our graphic designer and created this logo to represent the rebirth of the Lamborghini Club Gala in Monterey: Serata Italiana.

https://serataitaliana.com/

Now "SuperCars of Florida" believes the logo is better suited for them? LOL Shirts, banners, printed materials... what was this guy thinking?

Gross. I mean really, how much more blatant could that be. It speaks a lot to the kind of person this guy must be. That said, it is the exotic car business in South Florida, so keeping the stereotype alive, well, I guess someone has to carry that torch.

Reminds me of someone who just now discovered social media at an advanced age, and thinks no one else has seen it before :lol2:

"Hey guys, check out our new MySpace page on exotic car photography!"

How did I know it'd be a first year Gallardo? Lol.

I really want to know what happens with this. Did he not think someone would find out?

I've been replying to his posts with the following:

"Hey look! He's using the Lamborghini Club of America's logo! What a douche bag! https://serataitaliana.com/"

Obviously he will remove them and block me but perhaps if enough people post about his crap he'll go poo poo in his pants.

"Greg appreciate the comments but your way off the page here i have been in contact directly with LCA and can 100% prove i did not "borrow/copy/steal" anything from anyone. Chose your words very carefully my friend when you dont have the facts. Perhaps i should post the orignal renderings along with the date? FYI-there are dozens of supercar/exotic car insta/youtube/web that have been using that crest for several years long before LCA"

My response to him:

"You are SO wrong. Why not jump on the following thread and explain yourself? http://www.lambopower.com/forum/index.php?...=81780..." - He removed this post.

He just sent me a PM on FB under his own name claiming he and his 14 year old son designed the logo several years ago...

"Greg, I had no intention of borrowing anything from anoyone and as you can clearly see drive a lambo myself. You comments are less than accurate. I sent an open letter to LCA along with the origins of my logo which is no secret. If they see a problem we will discuss it, fussing over something that has no commercial value is not worth anyone's time. I can prove beyond any reasonable doubt i did not borrow/copy or steal anything. My 14 yr old son and i designed this several years ago, the crest and color are very common and hardly "unique" further we are using a porsche font hardly inline with something that lays claim to exclsuvely lamborghini. Cleary the LCA graphic artist would have known this?"

Mods, can I link his FB profile on here?

Andrew, I'll email you the link to his profile.

Post away. If he’s up to shady shit (which is the case) the community is better of being aware. He’s welcome to come on here and try and weasel his way out of it :lol2:

Here i am ok? must be a room full of lawyers but thats ok , if your pitching a fit over something of zero commercial value then prove its worth and i will be more than happy to change my logo with the same notion you give equal treatment to the 30+ sites on intstagram, youtube, facebook and who knows how many supercar and exotic car sites all using the exact same crest. Gentleman and ladies this is truly beyond comprehension . You would think i stole an apple logo (which by the way they were sued and settled out of court with apple records you may recall lol) AS i mentioned to Greg chose your words and what your posting very carefully falsey accusing someone of theft of something that has zero commercial value and no registred trademark is shall we say impossible to prove there was a violation, slander on the other hand is quite easy. I drive a lambo, member here and LCA among others, my logo has appeared at literally dozens of lamborghini dealer sponsored events in FL, CA, NV, VA, NY and not a word was mentioned to me until today-this going back 4 plus years. When i have a formal discussion directly with the LCA graphic designer and there president i will gladly post the outcome win lose or draw. I sent then an open letter today with the facts and not the BS from facebook. I am a loyal supporter of the lamborghini brand and have been for years as proof i drive one and would never intentionally or even unintentionaly do anything to take away from that. I am not "airing" the laundry here for your amusement. I kindly suggest to all of you be very careful and cautious when picking and chosing your battles just as in business you take up a fight over value, customer loyalty and things that matter and drive sales/revenue not random less than accurate nonsense like this? Again if LCA has a problem i am more than happy to discuss it directly with them and more than happy to share the net results and take the appropriate action we mutually agree upon. Enough said have a great weekend to all.

Just change the logo a bit so it differs, colors etc. if I had a logo I’d want it to be unique, why would you have something like, by your own admission:

“the 30+ sites on intstagram, youtube, facebook and who knows how many supercar and exotic car sites all using the exact same crest” ?

Wouldn’t you want something different, something which has some significance to you ?

But wait, as he told me in a FB PM, "My 14 yr old son and i designed this several years ago"

I guess the 30+ sites he's referring are the ones you should be directing your question too. ;)
