  1. Wouldn't some modification to your driveway's grade be cheaper then some of the options you're looking at? Between lift systems or replacing your front bumper / splitter etc., could it be more feasible to have the driveway re-surface with a smoother profile? Keep in mind I don't have any knowledge of the design or scale of the driveway in question. Regards, Adam
  2. http://www.autotrader.ca/a/Bentley/Arnage/...amp;orup=2_15_6 Works out to about $58k USD given how bad our CDN dollar is.
  3. Given the abysmal canadian dollar, you could also purchase a car here and have it shipped down to ugr. Thsee savings might offset the shipping costs back to you. Example (no affiliation) http://m.autotrader.ca/a/5_26380205?ursrc=...mp;orup=1_10_46 $86000 usd. Your best search tool would be autotrader.ca or www.kijiji.ca

  5. As a buyer who has overlooked flaws while inspecting my own cars, I feel it is easy to over state one's ability to be objective and thorough when looking over a potential purchase. That being said, a lot of the ppi that are referenced in this thread seem lack lustre. I have no affiliation with ammo but take a look at Larry's ppi on a lfa. I think this level of scrutiny should be standard on these high value cars. http://www.ammonyc.com/detailing/lexus-lfa...-we-buy-or-not/
  6. This works out to about $220 usd. http://m.autotrader.ca/a/19_8989946?prx=-1&orup=2_10_9 $235 usd. http://m.autotrader.ca/a/5_25415281?prx=-1&orup=3_10_9 I have no relation to either, just might be a good opportunity to take advantage of our (cdn) dollar dropping.
  7. I think the list you submitted to your marketing tram had some great options. With multi use developments in my area, I find that "xxxxx place" always has an upscale connotation. Maybe it reminds people on a subconscious level of park place, but I think it would work with most of your short listed selections. My contribution: Trillium Place Pinnacle Place
  8. With the CDN dollar so crap at that moment, the price is not that outlandish, check out this one for $395,000 CDN / $298,000 USD http://www.kijiji.ca/v-cars-trucks/city-of...gationFlag=true Adam
  9. Some installers use hybrid installations of spray foam and traditional insulation materials. The big problem here is if you have 2" of spray foam, then fibreglass and a vapour barrier, you end up with two vapour barriers and a pocket of moisture. This can lead to long term problems of mold of moisture. Adam
  10. I run one of 3 certification organizations for Spray Foam insulation in Canada. (www.foamexperts.ca). We're ISO accredited for installer certification and field inspections. Don't laugh at the site too much, our graphic designed passed away leaving us temporarily in the lurch. We essentially do installer certification and inspections for any foam supplied by Bayer Material Science, Lapolla, Elastochem Specialty Chemicals or Gaco Western. If you PM your info I could give you some project-specific tips, but generally: 1) The overwhelming majority of complaints about spray foam is when it is installed at pass thicknesses greater than 2" / 50mm, or passes are applied too quickly in succession. This creates a situation where the foam can scorch and burn as it cures, creating the fowl odour that is widely report. The practice is most common with less experience sprayers who are in a rush to finish a job. The odour will never really dissipate and can't be cleaned or removed, the foam itself must be scrapped off and removed. Good practice is to spray a 2" pass on each section a day, then come back and add additional layers after it has cooled. 2) Spraying in very cold temperatures using poorly maintained equipment can lead to an off-ratio condition, leaving raw chemical in the installation. This is less likely in southern climates but we do see it occasionally up here. An discoloured material on the wall is a cause for concern. 3) From a building science / value perspective, there is a huge value in 2" of medium density / 2 lb spray foam. At 2" thickness, you get a vapour and air barrier that is unparalleled. Beyond 2" it is somewhat of a case of diminishing returns, I wouldn't go beyond what is required for minimum code for insulation in your area when using spray foam. 4) There is a 24 hour period where there can be no occupancy in the building. The best spray foam contractors use minimum 3000 cfm exhaust fans in each work area to exhaust fumes directly outside. Using this setup, you could walk into a room that had been sprayed 1 hour later and not notice a smell. Hope this provides some assistance, Adam
  11. depending on the construction of your home, you may see a better return on increasing the energy efficiency of the home itself to decrease energy needs in the first place. I run a certification and inspection organization for spray foam insulation if you have any questions. A good energy audit might be useful Adam

  14. Sigh, I was in Alberta for the day for business so I took a 100km detour to swing by ZR to try and steal a look. Unfortunately for me they must have had it hidden away. Its certainly in good company with its Lambo brethren and the ZXX. Fantastic choice on colours and accents, definitely unique!
  15. You seem very fond of the murc, have you considered sending it down to the folks at UGR? At 1,000 hp I doubt you would have to worry about being left behind off the traffic lights. Adam
  16. Check these out: http://ontario.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-c...QAdIdZ575678871 $10k for both....
