The rubber will not dry out in a year. Give me a break. If it was off the car and sitting in a garage there is a good chance it could happen. What risk are you talking about? If you drive the car 10 miles a year you're obviously not taking a risk. Understandably, if you put 10,000 miles on the car and are beating the heck out of it, obviously you would change the tires in a year, if not sooner.

I don't know about that. Tires are tires. Why would you have to change them every year if you don't use the car? Makes no sense to me.
