  1. the stripe and blackout of the rear are really necessary to have it look completed imo thanks! Tirestickers.com did them for me locally here, was $350 if I recall correctly.
  2. nope these are the stock wheels, 20/21 - I think the tire stickers just accentuate the size and make them look considerably bigger. Usually not a tire sticker guy but these were perfect to break up the green and black. Agreed - thought the same thing! The car was a looker already but with these changes it breaks necks - so interesting how little details can make it look that much better. Here's a post with more angles from PFS, along with one from my 'car stuff' IG so you can see what it looked like before. This car has every single CF option possible (other than the center caps, that looks weird to me on black wheels) so up close its still a nice contrast on the rear bumper as the black now meets the massive rear splitter thats fully CF, the sides where the bottom rocker is CF meet black below the door and the front is wrapped with the painted pieces black now as well - basically think of it exactly like the bottom half of a 63 livery, with a green stripe instead of gold.
  3. Tried ordering the car like this from factory but they told me I couldn't have the first delivery. Found out about STEK's black PPF and did it over the suntek wrap I already have on the car. Turned out perfect, absolutely love the way it looks now. Verde Themis FTW.
  4. Yep, have the dealer take the door cards out and grind it down, it'll be fine. I'd have them felt edges at the same time before they put them back on, honestly makes a big difference in speaker sound quality imo
  5. dude, congratulations! I did suntek on mine, really like it a lot. I think it's clearer than xpel ultimate but it may just be that i have a lighter color now compared to the xpel on my monterey blue 640. Would also love to know if side markers are easy to swap, I'd do it as well. I don't think you'll be happy with the valve switch, i did that then just went to Brooke race exhaust - sounds the same but just as loud as you would have hoped it'd be with the factory sound. Here's a good drive - by clip: yes, still the issue of the tint getting scratched. I'd have them wrap the CF door cards with felt as well, mine vibrated from the speakers til they did that.

What Bugatti is doing is interesting to me as I've heard you'll lose a fair amount on a standard Chiron - I can't imagine some of their special editions won't do better as the bodywork is substantially different and they are even more limited. I don't know if it's social media or what but it seems like everyone has an exotic now days. I think super rare coach building is the only option these brands really have left in order to capture the excitement in such a small market of customers who can actually afford it.
  8. Post your spec. The only reason I have heard of this happening is if the spec is deemed to not have a good ability to sell if you back out.
  9. I contacted them, I would have bought it at $600k. That's easily a $700k spec car here in the US. Importing from Canada to the US means you lose all warranty and option for one and pay a 6.1% import tax. Still less than buying it here (even with an aftermarket warranty) but you will also lose more when it comes time to sell here, I believe they are called gray market cars here.
  10. They are way less expensive in Canada than the US - that's only $600k in USD . The AP options with paint, interior and calipers are around $30k alone.
  11. Dude this is a nearly identical spec to mine (from what I can tell) in roadster form. Only difference is the interior - I did the SVJ XXX stitching instead of the S details on the seat and dash. How is it only $790k CAD? Just the AP options for the color alone make it more expensive than that.

  13. Dude I almost ordered that color but the wait would have been forever and last time I checked they wanted a hefty premium for it. The color is called Blue Lial, there's an SV roadster in this color as well. @DoctaM3 I'm guessing this is yours?

  15. Hey all, getting a 65 Impala convertible so I can take the fam on drives together. Found what looks to be exactly what I want near Houston TX and I’d like to have a pro look over it before I fly out to get it. Any one local there have any suggestions?
  16. LOL I felt the EXACT same way - was even worse in a roadster. I had full catless LOC and actually put the secondaries back in to get rid of some of the smell.
  17. My thoughts exactly @VCR - I just don't see them having the funds to make an entirely new tub. IMO it would have to be more of a Diablo to Murci move than ground up given the current status with VAG and funding the brand. Anyone here an engineer that knows how difficult it would be to modify the mold of a CF monocoque? lol
  18. @VCR have you heard anything about whether or not they’ll use the same CF tub from the Aventador for its replacement?

  21. Was pretty much to be expected. I went with the SVJ coupe specifically for this reason - Roadster was cutting it too close to the replacement.
  22. Try turning the TCS off Joey, it makes such a big difference in how the car drives! The TCS in the 640 basically just cuts power all the time - with 2wd even more so.
  23. Some of these guys are very hard to watch but you have to remember though that their audience is not our age demo - it's the 12 - 18yr olds. Sadly, one thing I feel like the internet really ruined is exotic cars. When I was young, even if I saw a corvette drive by I'd freak out - seeing a Lambo was like seeing a unicorn. Now with IG and YT it's so commonplace we've all sort of become immune to it.
  24. The comments above are basically exactly my train of thought when going for the SVJ. The S is seriously SO easy to drive but I wanted something like the SV - the SVJ just checks all the boxes. As Alex mentioned, I don't know that the cost to upgrade from the SV to the SVJ is worth it (haven't driven the SV) but there's no place else to go from the SVJ but hypercar.
