Roaster engine died while driving, won't start
ExoticCarDriver replied to Stimpy's topic in Archived Content
Hi. I am showing the OBD fault code for the crankshaft position sensor is P0336. I am just curious was a check engine light displayed for this code? Was the fault diagnosed via an OBD II reader? -
Lp 640 fuel tank reading full when it’s not full
ExoticCarDriver replied to Quadtrac600's topic in Archived Content
Because it sat for 6 months, I wonder has the fuel gummed up and prevented the fuel gauge from working properly? -
Do you have any updates on the egear issue?

Here are some pics of my Murci

I had the clicking noise before. It turned out to be the plastic piece that holds the cooling brake hose to the frame of the car. Mine was cracked and was coming off its mounting area on the frame of the car causing a clicking noise when I turned the steering wheel. Might be worth a check to see.

Single bolt Vband clamps for primary cats
ExoticCarDriver replied to LW Lambo's topic in Archived Content
I replaced my primary cats with straight pipes a while back and went with v-band clamps vice the OEM clamps. Its nearly impossible to reinstall the OEM clamps as there isn't enough room in there as you will find yourself working with one hand. So yes the v-band clamps are easier. For removing the bolting on the clamps, I went with a small pass through type ratchet/socket. Once you get the clamps loose you should be able to rotate the straight pipe some to easily access the sensors. -

I have a 2006 Murci roadster and the driver's side window has stop auto dipping (when in fully up position) from the door latch on the inside and outside of the car. Does anyone know what I can do to start troubleshooting this?

I hope everything is ok with your car.

Does anyone know how to remove the egear paddles for the Murci?

I went and looked at both these Murcis yesterday. The cars were in a shaded area of the dealer so this is only what I noticed with the limited amount of light. The white Murci looks great exterior/interior wise. I couldn't find anything wrong with it. The orange Murci front bumper has a 3"x3" section of paint chipped off the front bumper and the rear left fender needs to be painted as there is a small chip of paint removed there to. The left mirror needs to be fixed/painted or replaced as it looks like the mirror material has melted some?? The bat wings were not fully down. They were sitting up about a 1/2" or so. I tried pushing them down and they didn't budge. I hope this helps anyone out trying to buy these cars.

whats the clutch min wear on 06 murci?
ExoticCarDriver replied to sabortooth's topic in Archived Content
To clarify, the Lambo tech told me that the pad is in fact a total thickness of 7.6mm, however, the rivots?? on the clutch disc pad sit lower than the full amount of pad such that at the 5-5.6mm area is were these rivots will start to grind on the flywheel and cause slippage. Can anyone confirm if this is BS? -
whats the clutch min wear on 06 murci?
ExoticCarDriver replied to sabortooth's topic in Archived Content
I'm so glad I found this thread. The local dealer told me that the max clutch wear on a 06 Murci is 5mm (about 20% per mm). Can anyone else reconfirm this 7.6mm? -
I had Michelin Pilot Super Sports on my 2004 Gallardo. I never had any problems with the tires. I ended catching a good deal on some off craiglist (basically new)....LoL. Check ebay to for deals.
