I think you are mistaken nobody in the LA area including the biggest Lambo dealers knows anything about any unveiling of the V12 on Dec 3 private or not. But you seem to forget that the 1 heavy crank in the V12 is 50% longer and heavier the 4 cams are 50% longer the block is 50% longer so are the heads you got 48 vs 32 valves and lifters. There is more in every part of a v12 then a V8 except single items like water pump and other add on. I just don't understand your logic, how can you think a V12 is not much heavier then a V8.

Lamborghini always lists dry weight the LP640 3663 lbs the LP670 SV 3450 lbs So take out some weight for the CF tub and give them a little credit for some additional weight saving and you will have a new car at 3300 lbs dry. What everyone always forgets is a 12 Cyl. engine has 50% more internal parts and a 50% bigger block then and 8 Cyl. And then you add the weight of AWD and your lucky to have that 3300 lbs Be like the F car take out the AWD go to a 8Cyl and you can have your 2900 Lb car, but then you will not have a Lamborghini.
