  1. I had a DB7 daily driver many years ago - no issues whatsoever.
  2. Kinda reminds me of sandable grey primer ....
  3. *cough* that'll be mine, and the wheels are actually AWI not OZ!
  4. What a dick - that's a piece of automotive history. I recommend you try selling it in Europe, the dollar is so low against the GBP and Euro a lot of cars are leaving the US for Europe as they are effectively half-price for the European buyers. Check out this site - http://www.esprit4sale.co.uk/Sale/UsedCarCentre.html and I'll let a few folks over there know about it.
  5. Q "How much did that cost?" A "Nothing man, it's stolen!" Silence .....
  6. I just bought a 08, cheap, small, fast and a blast to drive.
  7. Have you ever thought someone is trying to tell you to get rid of this car!
  8. Members can buy them for $100 a piece which is also tax deductible ....
  9. It would put me off ever dealing with them ....
  10. Nice car and each to his own, but how many "911 variants" do you see everyday vs a Lotus Esprit ......
  11. So true - I've had my eye on one for a while, but figure these will be $70K cars in 12 months. Why they put those wheels on is beyond me .....
  12. Most parts are readily available, infact cars from the 90's onward had a lot of GM parts which are all cross-referenced on various sites. Realistically, the 02' are high $40K to low $50K cars - maybe he's asking too much?
  13. Info on the gearbox here - http://hollowayperformance.com/index_files/Page339.htm
  14. Great pictures, where were the underground (tunnel) type photo's taken?

  17. There's an outfit in California that has rebuilt a few of these - www.vikingmotorsports.com - they may be able to help you. Paul
  18. Someone over on fcrap got some great shots of the atom - see http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=86646
  19. I just saw one this morning at the Crystal Cove get together in Orange county - first one I've seen in the US, looked great apart from the owner stuck the Union Jack flag stickers on upside down!
  20. No matter what model you get, you'll love it, the Esprit has soul man, it aint no Honda! Regarding the comment on $$$ for repairs - If you're handy with a wrench the 4 cylinder cars are very easy to work on, and in the past two and a half years, I've spent $1640 on my S4s including $700 to change the cam belt, now compare this to the $1,500 I just spent tonight replacing the ECU in my Range Rover and you get the picture. - Good luck and enjoy it
  21. These cars are a great bang for the buck, but if you can swing it, go for the S4s (although they're getting more expensive than the early V8's and hard to find). Check out www.espritfactfile.com and www.lotusespritworld for a gobs of Esprit data!
