Aventador SV-J Discussion and New Information
LPDADDY replied to LVolkan's topic in Automobili Lamborghini
Doesn't seem to be a ahortage of buyers , as long as that is the case , it will go on . -
I doubt there are readily available spacers for such a limited production car , find a reputable race team in your area and get them to make you a set , should be a no brainer and will be done correctly by anyone who knows what they are doing .

Could everyone just chill , who gives a fuck who owns what or who has a bigger dick . For the record , if any of you doesn’t like what the forum offers , don’t post here . -
Activated charcoal, comes in capsules, one can a take a whole bunch after over indulging , will absorb most of the alcohol.

The 63 car looks terrible in my opinion, looks like a riced out Aventador. The car needs to be a solid color . -

Your 911 gt3 will go the track and so 100 Laps any issues . I don’t see any of the Italian super Cars lasting as long without some form of a glitch -
That looks really hot , congrats.

Aventador SV-J Discussion and New Information

It is and it isn’t . By the end of the production cycle , my guess is that there will be 10000 aventador’s out there , call it whatever , 50th , S, SV , SVJ , still basically the same car with different front spoilers or stickers . To the average joe , same shit , one would be hard pressed to tell the difference between all of them . Are they good looking cars ? Definitely and best bang for the buck in the supercar segment but hardly exclusive , the same body shape goes on for way too long and that has been Lambo’s issue since the Gallardo . But they need to be profitable and I suppose this is the only way to do it . The Urus might be the game changer for the company , it should fill up the coffers very nicely and might allow for new cars with a shorter life cycle -

The aventador is really getting long in the tooth, tough to get excited for me , another body kit, 20hp more , they will make as many as they can sell . Need some new blood. -
There is better way to take the fun factor out of a car that to do radical mods, especially in the hp department , when a chassis developed by the factory with extensive hours of testing gets expected to handle twice or more than the original figure from the factory . Works in a straight line most of the time and ruins everything else by making the car undrivable except in a straight line
-
The cars they provide the magazines for testing are the ones to own
-
All the modern sports cars handle well enough to have fun with on the street , the track numbers achieved by magazines are jut nit picking , whatever works for the prospective or actual owner of the car
-
And how many people go to VIR to test their cars ? All I hear is how bad the handling of the 720s is , total nonsense . In the real world , almost nobody can tell difference between any supercar or is good enough to make use of super handling , the bragging rights almost always end up being who is fastest in straight line and the 720s is a monster

Stunning 935 .

Depressing for new ZR1 owners
-
Especially the long wheelbase . Not going to happen , no market for it
-
The Miura is too valuable to retro mod ,911 ‘s are dime a dozen . It won’t be MB like fortis is alluding to . The donor vehicle , whatever the make , has to be relatively cheap to begin with and somewhat desirable , past or present

I had a long conversation last weekend with a friend of mine who is major figure in sports car racing about the Singer Porsche , I will not name my friend as he is about to start a similar program with another make . I was puzzled by the price of the Singer , it seems it starts at around a million and can go as high as 2 million with the Williams motor , he says they are making 1 to 2 cars a month and there is a 2 year backlog . In other words , lots of fcuk you money out there , the cars are magnificent and the finish is second to none , but , when all is said , it still is a 911 and no 911 in my eyes is worth 1 million , never mind 2 million

It was not mine , one of my good friends . He ownerd the car for 3 months and it spent most of the time in the shop . Lot of electrical issues and something about the coolant system that they could not figure out , at least fast enough to make him happy . He was so disappointed he gave them the car back .
