I considered a stick but ended up buying an E . My biggest dissapointment was when rolling slowly in heavy traffic I'd have to brake , slowing the car to engage first and always feared getting bumped in the rear . I had my techs modify the brake switch so I just barely touch the brake pedal and can engage first without slowing . This mod made a tremendous difference and of course the brake lamps come on sooner but this is fine . I had an F1 360 , felt it was to jerky at low speeds then traded it for a stick Spider 360 , the Murc seems much better probably because it has more torque . ( as does the G ) Overall I'm pleased with the E gear and really dig the downshifts in sport mode .

I'd have to see the caliper assy to tell for sure but my guess is the brake pads and or pad attaching hardware . The wheel photo shows multiple scratches that probably line up with the pads/hardware also note the caliper is rubbing slightly . I'm not an engineer but I'm fairly certain the 3mm of clearance is not being compromised by expansion as some one had suggested . It may be normal harmonics causing the scratching and ultimately the wheel to caliper clearance should probably be increased . I think the Doc is in good hands , the Lambo guys will get it corrected with or without our input .

It has to be the caliper shifting in it's bracket , the caliper bracket shifting/flexing/vibrating or the caliper bracket mounting point flexing/vibrating . I saw this before when one of my techs , I'm embarassed to say forgot to tighten/install an lower caliper bracket bolt .

I saw photos on that forum . There is no stucture in the doors , frame intergrity is questionable , overspray all over the wiring / plumbing , just a mess some poor guy has 41k into plus another 7-8k in incidentals and nowhere near finished . I don't get this kit car thing . If you can't afford the real thing you can less afford to make a horrible investment in a " replica " .

I bought a heavily wrecked almost new Z8 in 03 , sold it a year later to an exotic car dealer . I disclosed the accident history but carfax didn't have any record of it . BTW this was a spectacular accident in Newport , RI during tourist season that got a lot of attention . Bottom line don't trust anything , check the car yourself or hire an expert . Why would any one report to them anyway ? To kill marketability ? If any of my heavies got damaged and ended up on carfax / auto check I'd be going after someone for diminished value except in the event of a total loss .

I think we are seeing seasonal adjustments and some sellers prefer to move on rather than wait for the spring market although I presume the market is soft in general.

It's a lot of miles for a 3 year old Murc . Look at the market place or better yet try selling it to a Lambo or any dealer and see what they tell you . There are so many out there with no miles , I mean 2002s with a few k on the clock and 7s 8s and 9s with under a thousand or two miles are all over , so for a Murc it is a lot of miles . Try selling it in 2 years with 20,000 on the clock and watch them run away . I've sold a lot of cars , the exotic car market is unique . At the right price the miles don't bother me . I'm sure the car is and will be fine as long as it's been maintained and not abused , plan on getting below market when you sell so buy below market now.

I agree , they were on the car when I bought it and people go gaga over them , fortunately the previous owner had the originals in storage . I'm just going to wear 'em out and install the originals which have a few hundred miles . I've driven many cars before and after wheel swaps , the 19 , 20 and up just don't ride as well as 18s . I feel like they beat the car up , also I don't see race cars running the short sidewall tires . My buddy wants 5k for the Mayas and tires . I think tires alone are close to 2k if any one has interest I'll put you in contact , he may take an offer . Those silver 5 spokes are really nice wheels . Good luck !

Some one I know has 4 brand new Mayas on P Zeros ready to go for 5k . I have a set on my car and they're good but once they go bald I'm going back to stock . Here is a photo of mine .

I'll say , 2005 ? Wow ! I guess they did make a Momo edition and the 2006 I posted is definitely not the car . Maybe we can help them sell it .
