  1. Just to clarify...we did not have kids to rely on later. We do not want to be a burden and if our care requires too much time/effort, we would rely on professional help. Assuming they are reasonably close, getting them to set up whatever new fangled technology is around in 30 years shouldn't be a big ask. Both sets of parents are with 10 minutes of our house so helping them from time to time is not that big a deal. Recently my mom broke a thermometer so I went over to help clean up the mercury since her eyesight is soso. I'm talking about things like this...not daily bathing or feeding an invalid parent.
  2. So you should just let the people that brought you into the world and raised you live a life of hardship as their minds and bodies break down? I appreciate what my parents have done for me all the years so it is the least I can do to look out for them when they now need me. Is it always easy? No. Does it sometimes get in the way of fun stuff I could do? Yes. Can my mom handle my father who has Alzheimer's plus everything around the house on her own? Nope. So I have to step up...just like I do when taking care of my kids Hopefully our children will have some appreciation for what we have done for them and feel like they want to help us as well. No guarantee but if we raise them well, I don't think it will be an issue for them to care for other people besides themselves.
  3. I was never that into kids but wish I had mine earlier looking back. Yes they are a pain in the ass and they take away the ability to do other cool stuff you might do but there is nothing in the world that can give you the joy you get from the pure laughter of your child. It is truly priceless. Not even the wail of a Lambo V12 comes close. My wife and I also looked at having children for a somewhat selfish reason. We see our parents aging and find ourselves helping them out more and more. We are counting on our children doing the same for us down the road. Honestly, kids make life fun again. Boring things are interesting. Old things are new. It gives you a fresh perspective and more enthusiasm for life...at least in my experience. Ok time for a nap. They wear you out.
  4. The cars have been driven and are now used. Putting a slightly used muffler on a slightly used car seems pretty logical. We are onlying talking a muffler here. They don't often break. If I had an Aventador I'd be all over it. I'd be installing myself though so no worry of cost on that end. Glws. Seems solid to me.
  5. Not sure I'd drop 250k for it but I definitely like.
  6. Now if I could just find an LP570 that went with the Technocrafts...still looking for the factory buckets in yellow.
  7. I can't find a picture of the lower portion of the SV seats but all fixed buckets I have seen have sliders and then side brackets sit on top. All you should need to do is either drill some new holes in the brackets to rotate the seat. Or if there is not enough meat on the bracket, get some fabbed up. They are usually pretty simple. Apologies if these mount directly to the sliders.
  8. This. http://www.carbuzz.com/news/2015/2/11/A-Fe...n-Cave-7725388/
  9. Doesn't make sense to me that they would not have the wiring regardless. The factory said my radio-delete Superleggera had no radio wiring harness. But of course it did. It would probably cost more to make two different harnesses for these cars (with regard to seat power), especially when so few Aventadors will have fully manual seats. I'd bet it is tucked under the carpet.
  10. Lambo is no longer an independent boutique manufacturer. Selling cars pay bills and keeps shareholders happy. Making enthusiast cars doesn't sell cars. I think Lambo is giving it a good go considering the circumstances.
  11. Personally, I'd get it coated black ceramic...especially if your car is the one in the avatar with black wheels.
  12. I can't imagine there is enough interest in a stock muffler to make that worthwhile...unless it is a sport version or something other than standard issue.
  13. No way I'd swap those two for an aventador unless it was a 50th or SV or unless you have a need to merge two into one. I'd say one old school and one new school is a great combination. I have a friend that went from Murci to Aventador and then back to a 640...did not really like the vent. Just saw in your sig that your 640 is Telesto. Not a chance in hell I'd get rid of what you currently have!
  14. Awesome brother. I think you are out of room for the Diablo.
  15. Awesome man. Still getting the sv?
  16. I have purchased some Porsche stuff from him and been very happy with quality and service. Definitely recommend!
  17. Nice. Still got to find me some yellow euro/570 seats.
  18. That question was not even worth answering.
  19. I am massively underwhelmed with the appearance...which is what I expected since the first sketch. It could have been so much more. It could have been must have instead of meh.
  20. That is a special kind of stupid right there. 50th >>>>>>> Mansory. At least ruin a regular Aventador. Side note, can you get Porsche parts by chance? I need a euro bumper. Cheers.
  21. Anything for 993tt? I know you had some setups with the old company.
  22. Posting for a friend. As the title states. Radiator failed and car overheated. Block would be good for a head start on a turbo build. $3500 shipped. PM me and I will put you in touch. Cheers. RT
  23. Spot on. It would look fine had they not gone overboard with the white.
