I daily drive a wrangler TJ on 35s with a bunch of other goodies (ARB lockers, regeared etc). Check your tolerance for noise, bounciness, zero luxury and poor gas mileage. If those things don't bother you then you're a good candidate to daily drive one! They are super fun to build and the jeep community is a good one. My son is almost 1 and I'm thinking that I might need to swap my jeep out for something with 4 doors. I'm currently thinking about getting an older G500 and modding that to make it more off road worthy (out the box they are pretty good- but with some minor mods they can be better off road!) The problem is that I love my Jeep and don't know if I can part with it !

I'm definitely not an engineer... but aren't front wings on F1 cars also suspended? So maybe it looks worse than it really is? I don't really know.

It's amazing how inconsiderate and rude some people can be these days... unbelievable! -
I'm embarassed to say how long it took me to put everything back together!!!

I don't know... even though it's only a 10 minute job, it still would have been nice if you could access and remove the battery without having to take out the tub.
-
Good luck with it all... the car looks great!

You have to remove the front compartment trim (the rubber seal and then the whole trunk area) to remove the battery. I can't remember what size the battery is, but I think all the replacements other than the FIAMM battery will be slightly different in size than the FIAMM and may need a little modifying of the battery holder to get it to work. I'll let others chime in on what battery to use... there seem to be some strong opinions regarding that. I would expect that the battery failure is probably more a coincidence than anything else. Good luck

I bought a car from John Hrad in the past as well. I agree with Ripper, John is a stand up guy and is good for his word.

Good Luck with it all!

Congrats Pete! Love the pics with your kid in the car.

Looks great! Have you considered blacking out your front side markers to match your rear markers? Any pics of the rear lexan you had custom made? Too bad about that $600 paperweight...

I hope the POS owner finds this post and tells us what he's running! Good story though... not used to reading about TT Gs finding worthy adversaries on the road. -
