My Aventador - 3 months into ownership REVIEW

You shouldn't be around for the install then because they use heat gun to negotiate corners and tight areas, it's a common practice. As far the two layers are concern, if you pull off single layer at a time with steam then there shouldn't any issues. And yes we did went off the thread topic.

This is on my SV, my is installer is the best I've seen, you can't even tell there's film on paint even on the double layered panels. Sorry, can't post any pics, keep getting error messages.

Tell us how the movie was really!

Anyone know this SV?? Friend is interested...

That orange SV is from Florida? Any more details on it? -
I don't know if you guys are doing this or not, but I specifically asked my installer to double the vulnerable panels such as the front bumper, front lower bumper, mirrors and the side rockers. For the satin panels to be double filmed, use the gloss film first and followup with the satin film. Why? The satin sticks better to the gloss film whereas satin to satin not so much. Btw, I used the Suntek film as they offer the most clarity of the film available. Also, Suntek just came out with a film with a coating on it already, so no need to ceramic coat the film after installed.

Factory Racing Exhaust plus tune for AVSV!
drviperdds replied to TeamSalamone's topic in Archived Content
It's the same Race exhaust right for the 16 &17 right? Couldn't you use that same system to install on the SVR and wait on the software programming? -
Nice pics! I especially like the one with the blue shades, matches your SV. Your wheels look great! If only this event was a little closer to me.

Amazing spec'd SV! Congrats Porter!

Bluetooth Audio Streaming on my 2017 SV Roadster
drviperdds replied to Omo's topic in Automobili Lamborghini
Happy to report back on this bluetooth device, works perfectly with my iPhone 6S on the most updated OS. Don't forget to turn up the volume on the phone. -
I wouldn't mind doing that but the film job on it now is like perfect, the tinter is best I've been to.

Absolutely horrible, possibly the worst thing I have ever seen. I can't imagine the state the husband is in. RIP
-
Can someone post a pic of the potential damage area to the tint please? I had on tinting on mine for over two months now but never roll down the windows completely due to this. Thanks

No cel's as all the temp probes and oxygen sensors are retained.

Not at all, I was pleasantly surprise.

I'm not running any cats, the smell is very tolerable compared to my Murcie. Love your wheels, may have to order another set for spare. I have these coming next week, unfortunately not in time for Bullfest.

Btw Fortis, it's not necessary to install the remote valve controller if you don't want to. It'll be controlled from the driving modes as normal. Both vids above were taking without the valve controller installed. Starting with open valves is freaking loud!!
-
Got a visit from the local police after a few revving sessions. I don't blame them though, my own fault for not getting away from the neighborhood to so. I was able to get a couple of poor vids, first one in closed valves in Strada mode, cold engine. The second is in Sport mode with slightly warm engine. I did not get any codes at all. Update, did finished installing the remote valve controller, so will try to get vid with open valves and warm engine soon.
