Please tell me that the interior is actually white and that the yellow I see is just one hell of a reflection off the paint job.

Exterior color is among the least desirable for Murci which really hurts the resale of this car. Burtoni exhaust doesn't help either. I don't see 12K on an 03 Murci as that big of an issue. If anything, most of the bugs have surfaced and been fixed. A major plus for the car is new clutch installed by dealer 1,000 miles ago. Just hard to sell a silver Murci.

The "blue devil" they brought to the show was a dark metallic gunmetal gray. Unfortunately, there was a lot of speeches and back-patting for the charity event we were at that ate up the first 30 minutes of our "sneak preview", which cut down actual seat time in cars to less than 2 hours. And on top of that, the show was split into two different sections of the World Congress Center because of the heavy damage from the tornado so it REALLY made seeing all the cars in less than 2 hours impossible. So, I saw the ZR1 up close but didn't get inside it. 1. The small clear window on the hood looks super gay. 2. Everything else looks like a regular POS. You'd think you'd get more, visually, for the extra $80K.

Was at sneak preview for the Atlanta car show on Friday and Chevy had a display of the ZR1 without skin.

What did you use and how do I get it?

Had the same thing happen with me one time with the roadster at an open air restaurant. I pulled in out front to wait for someone to come out and sat there at idle, not really thinking about how loud my exhaust is. After a couple of minutes, I got tired of waiting, turned the car off and went inside to find the person I came to pick up. As I passed one of the outdoor tables, one of the guys starts yelling at me about how loud my car was and that he was about to come over and tell me to "turn the fcuking thing off". I apologized and told him and his table that I was so used to the exhaust I forgot how loud it was. But as I walk away, the guy starts to mouth off again. Great thing is this place is also popular with the biker set. As I'm walking out, several guys (who look like they knew the prison system pretty well) were gunning the exhaust on their Harleys. I walked up to them, pointed to the asshole at the table and said that guy over there says to tell you to"turn those fcuking bikes off now". I then went straight over to my car and left.

Is the $6000 John Cooper Works option worth it or can I achieve the same results much cheaper going aftermarket? If so, will the aftermarket approach void the warranty?

Impressive. But I prefer the retractable hard top.

That would probably be the best way. I have all the MOMO roadsters in my registry and several of my notes on them point out that they were shipped into the US as standard cars then the interior was redone as MOMO.

No prob dude. I've tried the one space thing before. Unless I've got a buddy parked on either side running interference, then no way. Nothing like watching a soccer mom pull up in her Suburban and having her kids kick their doors out into your car. Then having her tell you that you shouldn't be driving such an expensive car if you're so worried about door dings. THEN watching her take pictures of her kids with your car.

From what I understand, Lambo OC ordered six red cars and six yellow cars then did the "MOMO" treatment on them once they arrived stateside.

Like I said before, quit armchair quarterbacking, go plunk down the money for one of those cars, then give us your educated opinion. Or STFU. Was just in Paso Robles last year with several mil of my own cash negotiating the purchase of some land for a future wine venture. The money to do things like that and buy multiple Lamborghinis? Investing in Florida Panhandle beachfront land selling at over $75,000 a linear foot undeveloped. So, tell me again, what did I lose by making a home in the Florida Panhandle? Thought so. Now go back to sitting behind the wheel of your mommy's Accord and pretending you're me.

I finally used the Rolex one about a month ago, thanks to Eric. I had the front bonnet popped trying to get something out and this guy behind me wouldn't STFU and kept asking if it was fake. I finally turned around, threw up my wrist, and yelled "Yeah, and it comes with a fake fcuking Rolex too!" Another favorite reply that I have used for "Is it fake" is "Do I look fcuking poor to you?" And love the quips about overcompensating for penis size. I always tell them to send their girlfriend or wife over to find out.

Dealer confirmed last night that they were marking it up $10K over invoice. I told them I'd pass. If Ben wants it, he can have it. Fwiw, it's an interesting, but bland looking, car. If I'm going to pay $10K over MSRP for a Nissan, no matter how fast it goes, it needs to look more visually appealing, and be more exclusive, than what's being offered. For now, I've decided I'd rather lose the $10K at Mardi Gras.
