  2. I just read somewhere in one of the articles, lambo did patent the aero system. So I don't think others will knock it off.
  3. Few questions. I saw it but can't remember now. What color will the single lugs be? I thought red. The lug color is also not optional, right? Is the ALA system patented my lambo? I think it is the big thing to save 35 seconds over the regular H. 30hp and 88 lbs isn't going to make 35 seconds on its own. The reason i ask is if all the other guys are going to knock it off now.
  4. I honestly have no clue. I have never custom ordered a such an expensive car before. Off the top of my head, Rosso Mars would accent all the exterior gloss forged carbon in a great way. I think I really need help in this dept. I am going to go to my dealer and see if they can help. Any suggestions from you guys is great too. But if I do Rosso Mars, my dream of having a VI caliper and accents inside are dead I think. What color paint works with VI calipers?
  5. They have my deposit. I haven't spec'd one out yet and still deciding if I should do it. I'm trying to get past all the reservations in my head. But I 100% will add something with all the new technology this season. Kind of craving some tech since all my shit is old.
  6. I should have elaborated on the half white thing. I know it's a bit stupid sounding, but I thought it looked cool on some cars I saw. But I agree it doesn't work well on a rare 640 like this. Also I am bad with color options/matching etc. Not like some of you guys, which is why I wanted to see what LP thought. I didn't think the wing matching the VI calipers sounded that bad. I like I said, I am pretty horrible at color matching/etc. So i will keep it gloss black and put it on. I do know I wouldn't have done the wing in VI AND make the car half white at the same time. It would have been one or the other, but I will do neither at this point. Thanks Roy. I'll let you know when I want to get those wheels. I first need to decide if I should def get the new H Perf. If I do, then I will live with the wheels on my car already. Hopefully I have time to make the decision soon.
  7. Here's something else. Brooks Fiske dragged his G STS with the big wing on it did 11.2 @ 126mph. Then he removed the big wing and the car did 11.1 @ 132mph. Which is amazing. These times prove to me that big wings definitely slow a car down in a big way at higher speeds, but obviously help with downforce during turning. Now the guys at the Perf unveil said with the ALA open in the rear and the air flowing through the wing, it acts as if the wing is invisible, like it's non existent on the back, and will not slow the car down AT ALL at speed. And the wing obviously gives you all the necessary downforce around the turns when the flaps are closed, also proven by the ring times. But if the same drag race test with the wing on the car and off the car was carried out that Fiske did, would the difference in mph be that much less?????
  8. The car is bone stock now, minus secondary cat and muffler delete pipes. Beginning to get a bit bored with it. Thinking of doing this: Install a wing I already have that i got from Roy Make it RWD Tune ECU Get 670SV wheels (hopefully they're not a fortune) Update complete interior with carbon fiber as there is none now Change calipers to VI Possibly find something to splash some VI on, in the interior Maybe paint wing VI to match calipers Possibly wrap the entire passenger right side of the car gloss white. (Not sure how that works with the VI) What else do you guys think I can do? Or do you think something on my list sucks and why? Thanks in advance.
  9. Another thing. Regular H does the ring in 7:28 and the perf will do it in 6:52 or so??? 36 seconds from the tricky aero and 30HP and barely lighter? And this article is written like the 6:52 is not just talk. It's written like the time was actually done.   11. What is the final fact with the ring being changed to save 5 seconds or whatever? Did someone spread the runor or true? Then this whole ring time is useless to talk about? The perf still super fast, but is it really 5 seconds faster than the fastest car, 918, or is it because the ring was modified?

  13. Secure a wholesale deal with Tirerack.com or others like them, then buy the tools! Or just buy the tools. Exotic car guys are probably only 1% of the enthusiast car market to buy these. You will sell TONS to all car/truck enthusiast groups. If you sell to only 0.01% of the car enthusiasts, you will have another huge company... Sell generic "pzero, etc", lettering by the bulk to the many custom wheel/tire shops in the country...

  16. If one can't add fender vents with Ad Personam, can one put on aftermarket fenders from one of those Vorsteiner companies or something? How are OEM Huracan fenders installed on the car? Bolted up? If one removes the OEM fenders to install the vented ones, can the car be put back to stock and look like it was never touched? Or will painted bolts that hold the fender down have chipped paint and will there be other clues the fenders were removed then reinstalled?
  17. I hope it has good wheels and the top fender vents. If it does it will be that much more steller.
  18. I'll be in NY for the unveil. Just read all 21 pages. Interesting to see how it turns out. Major bummer if it doesn't have fender scoops and if it has ugly wheels.
  19. I have 4000 miles driving CGTs, and a zillion miles driving everything else. CGT is the best car in the world. Will be way more than a million in enough time and nothing like it will ever be made again.
  20. Every pound of rotational weight equals 6 pounds out of the car, like seats, hood, etc. Right? If that's right, that means it will be like removing 91 pounds from the car. And I know roughly every 100 pounds out is .1 and 1mph in the quarter! Brooks, am I right??
