  1. In regards to the wing issue, I've seen another aftermarket company crack the whole base plate above 160mph+. You have to have some kind of support and brackets to handle the heavy load that pushes on the rear OEM piece or even if its replaced in carbon I suspect that could crack to. I'm trying out a small lip on the back of my car which I'm sure will be fine since I don't plan on going over 200mph. Go ahead and push on the rear OEM deck and so how it moves, while that happens as you speed a lot more.
  2. OMG...these videos make the runs look so clean! Congrats on the balls to navigate these bulls!
  3. You always had one of my favorite GTR’s, this is pretty cool to hear. I know the feeling when you have a really fast car and once in a great while, you see someone who has one a little faster. Good sport man. Congrats to UGR!
  4. That video is awesome! Good work whoever is building the car.
  5. They should work the same unless they changed the shocks which i don’t think they will. In terms of stiffness, they are stiff then oem regular huracan but I remember the performante is supposed to be stiffer than regular huracan so who knows. Interesting note, some of the regular huracans that got the SPORT suspension setup (my 16 with magnetic shocks has it) has the EXACT same front sway bar as the performante. The rear performante sway bar is a little bigger though.
  6. Use the KW novitec kit. It is engineered very well.
  7. I would have loved the hard top split roof like an aventador. I wonder how they saved weight with carbon in the body. Half the tub is carbon already. Would be awesome to get one of those how to inside videos made showing the differences. That’s how you sell the journalists and geeks
  8. Excellent specs!!! You’ll love the car.
  9. You can buy the steel rotors from Girodisc I believe for the Huracan. I personally wouldn't stress about the rotors unless I was tracking often. If its once in a while, they will last for a long time of track and road use. With that said I have a rear set of used CCB Huracan rotors I can sell you cheap ($2500 for the pair) and then you would just need to find a set of cheap front CCB rotors. If someone really wants a solution for NEW cheap CCB front rotors, I can make them a set custom using Corvette ZR-1 front CCB rotor rings with custom center hats. I'd have to get an order for 2 front sets to make it worth my while but I could do them custom NEW for $5000 for a front pair to bolt on a Huracan. That would include my engineering and time to test fit them on my own huracan before I send them out to you. New Lamborghini CCB is probably around $14K. This option would be $7500 for essentially the exact same thing, something to think about.
  10. Agreed toyo doesn’t make a r888 or r888r in a front profile for the huracan or performante. It’s a weird really thin size 245/30/20. Lots of other options, whether is Oem Pzero garbage (good to only 1000hp . Optional Pirelli Corsa which is standard on the Performante and a really nice tire for performance overall. Then you have the barely street legal tire Pirelli Trofeo R, which is what I’ve gone to recently and is very very good tire in the warm climates. Almost nobody has used these on a street car in the USA, in fact I could only confirm one set being installed anywhere in south Florida between 3 Lamborghini dealers which was by our LP member SV-N-IT in an old car. Besides the fact that Pirelli doesn’t even list this size as available on their website, it is a OEM Lamborghini spec tire for the Nurburing record!!! There is usually less than 6 tires available at one time in the USA over the past year but Tirerack says they can special order them.
  11. With the OEM engine panels on, there is almost no way the average or above average person would know its modified.
  12. You can definitely adjust camber on the huracan positive or negative with shims. A bit more complicated but i did it on my car.
  13. Wow...interesting! I knew it was about the same as the regular huracan... I’ve seen stock huracan 610’s weigh in the 3423lb Range from car and driver in 2014, see attached photo. The same car and driver magazine today showed they weighed the performante at 3429lb, what are they smoking!!!! Everyone wants to kiss Lamborghini’s butt and say the car weighs less than it does. Everyone should weigh the car with a specific amount of gas as there is 21.1 gallons x 6.3 lbs= 132.93lbs of just fuel. Then the race seats vs comfort should save maybe 40lbs+. It’s like the magazines get different cars (not the case) or they are weighing them with only a couple gallons of fuel. What options did your performante have?
  14. This is the truth! If only you could see the beautiful weather we have had lately, amazing.
  15. Why would they do this? The car won't be engineered any better. It won't look any better, it won't handle any better. They didn't solve any problem if you ask me. If they did it for a cool retro look, they failed. Take a REAL pantera retro car and use the chassis and frame to put a huracan suspension, drivetrain in it, it would appeal a lot more to the retro mod guys.
  16. I agree on the Urus being very expensive with options and kinda silly. On the IRS code 179, I remember that but I thought they reduced the limits on it so I searched and I still can't find it applicable to an SUV to deduct it ALL through the business, it was confusing and would need to ask an accountant.
  17. I love the fact that your driving the car! The car looks amazing! The wheels and exhaust sound like something I'd consider changing but thats only if I was driving it more so than collecting it. I think I'd probably have to just keep it as art and NOT drive it lol. Congrats again and the more pictures you put up, the more epic this thread is.
  18. Can you guys make a Huracan Performante STYLE wing that replaces the third brake light panel and has some strong mounting mounts to the car? The aero will never work exactly but the look could be duplicated to maybe 90%. There is my huracan's build now than Gallardo's I believe or I could be wrong. The market would be huge for this.
  19. Thanks bud! I was just comparing some of your old vbox graphs this weekend to this one. Your old LP had some serious and was crazy fast. Then I see the shift times and realize thats how these newer DCT cars are so much fast with less power. I'm trying to understand how much difference there is now with the AWD of the old vs new. I'm not sure yet but I know that some of the older cars had some serious traction mods to make them work with big power. We are still far away from seeing the potential with the Huracan/R8 DCT in the 1/4 mile. In the 1/2 mile, we know its a rocket but I think 2018 will show more at slower speeds as everyone is getting to intense power levels. I can't imagine the performante being much lighter honestly. There isn't much difference between the 2 cars. The rear hatch might be a little lighter or maybe similar weight but nothing significant. With a TT huracan, only thing to drop weight is battery and seats.
  20. So initially you could order a performante with this option BUT before the US got them at the last minute, they were removed or not installed. They were supposed to be able to be added in at a later point. I'm not aware of any cars delivered with this YET. We don't even know really what it will look like.
  21. Have You actually weighed this car yet?
  22. He said they are over 185mph so that’s getting really fast! It’s really about how much power they can put down. I really want to know details about those wheel setup, its wicked.
  23. These cars are not light as they claim from the factory. After removing the OEM seats for carbon fiber seats, adding a OEM Lamborghini fire extinguisher, all the oem tools and tire pump, put some new tires on, recorner balanced the car with a little height adjustment, 3/4 tank of gas I’m at 3650lbs. Really good balance 50/50 corner balance with the UGR TT kit In the rear and water tank up front.
