This quip was from some website in Tahoe........ Last Thursday there was dirt and rocks. Fast forward through five days of relentless pounding along the TSC and by tonight there has been close to 100″ of snow. You can’t say “zero to hero” and mean it in any other fashion. This has been a historic November storm cycle. As of this afternoon, Alpine Meadows is reporting a 105″ storm total, or just about 9ft at the top, ~6ft at the base. Squaw reported a storm total of 88′ and counting as of 11:15am. Truly epic! the best part of this news/storm? I am basking in the sun in Hawaii

Brasil is HOSTING the next World Cup - 2014...they will focus efforts over the next 4 years getting their act together on and off the field. Something about third world countries (I lived in Argentina = the wealthy of the 3rd World, at least at the time), and saw similar scenes.
