anderson Report post Posted January 11, 2006 I have nearly finished a web site of our 1979 LP400S Countach, SN 112.1094. It is intended to be informative as well as interesting. Some material is just for fun and other parts boarder on bragging. I have included many photos, some history, and lots of detailed explanation for the hopeless Lamborghini enthusiast. I added two photos of the factory in May, 1982 showing the assemply line and several other interesting shots. If you are interested (and have a half an hour), go to http://www.warnercnr.colostate.edu/~anders...rson/ECCnew.htm Comments are welcome. Tony Ierardi Report post Posted January 11, 2006 David, Great Job! PS: I keep meaning to tell you, the "S" on the back of your car is upsidedown. The posts will line up, just turn in the other way. I see it a lot, I had some paint work done on my first Countach years ago and they put mine back upside down as well. ralfabco Report post Posted January 11, 2006 Very nice David. Excellent point, how road testers, probably needed more time with the car. I remember driving the car for the very first time. - Everything seemed out of place. It does take time, to learn the characteristics of the car. The car seems to be a single purpose automobile. The effort required in driving the Countach, matches the perceived personality and image of the car. One English rag mentioned how you would be disappointed, if the car was easy to drive.
