Placid Report post Posted January 24, 2006 25% drivetrain loss, pretty much what one would expect, right? BTW, that's a strange torque curve for an N/A engine, isn't it?
Allan-Herbie Report post Posted January 24, 2006 Waynes gcar did 366 AWD hp.
fastlambo1 Report post Posted January 24, 2006 580hp results in that? Gawd. What does a stock Murci trap? 120-ish?
OC Report post Posted January 24, 2006 Pretty nice powerband, other than that weird dip from 3.8 to 4.4K rpm, what is that about? Is there somekind of valvetronic thingy going on? -Olivier
murclovr Report post Posted January 24, 2006 interestingly, it loses 25% hp from stock, but only about 20% torque peak.....hmmm...dunno what this tells us but its interesting.

He already has new head gaskets and new head bolts in hand. He'll know what the deal is when he pulls both heads. I should know by friday. I told him to hurry up ...the car has a HEAVY social calendar coming up... Jeff SD Report post Posted January 24, 2006 Wayne, was your G bonestock when you pulled 414 RWHP ?
g-force Report post Posted January 24, 2006 Wayne, was your G bonestock when you pulled 414 RWHP ? It had Larini sport exhaust and test pipes in the 414 2wd dyno. in the 366 awd it was stock totyally as I recall.
g-force Report post Posted January 24, 2006 yes I rember now we didn't have time to retest after the exhaust mods.
LamboFighter Report post Posted January 25, 2006 Here it is...not bad for baseline! I don't get, why does everything stops at 6400rpm? I thought max power at 7500 isn't it?
D.Wiggs Report post Posted January 25, 2006 Here it is...not bad for baseline! According to this shoudl we be shifting around 5700 RPM for max acceleration? Looks like massive Tourque drop offs and no gain in HP.
Allan-Herbie Report post Posted January 26, 2006 Here it is...not bad for baseline! I don't get, why does everything stops at 6400rpm? I thought max power at 7500 isn't it? No, because on your upshift your revs would drop too low and youd fall out of the powerband.
fastlambo1 Report post Posted January 27, 2006 Allan, I dont get it, why lift a full 1000rpm short of redline? Doesnt it redline at 7500? Is the car healthy? I recall it wasnt too well maintained when it was sold. I give this dyno sheet the benefit of the doubt. I think a murci (especially with the driveshaft disconnected) would put down better numbers than that.
