johnmh Report post Posted April 6, 2008 What is Ralph restoring? Just came in from looking at a 97 Saudi Diablo VT Convertible. Probably $100k for a 22,000 km car with no service history. No idea what it is worth, but dealing with Dubai dealers is such a pain, as the initial ask price is complete B.S.

Tony Ierardi Report post Posted April 7, 2008 The engine room of 1121036... just a few bits to return to factory original. Note the heads still have the tan color finish from the factory cast. Engine never out, no bead blasting or tank bath. 16,000 KLM original engine. Original clutch. OMG

You go into a souk/market, and they expect you to haggle on the price.

Of course the pic looks scary. I also have the original size 4.5" 67S Fuchs rims. The engine runs. The car spent most of it's life in Medford, OR. The weather is similar to N. Calif. I have not started any restoration work.

I drove a '66 model 911 as my daily driver for 9 years. You are going to LOVE that ride!!
