That sticker is Funny. I agree we should start a thread just for

restorations. I know Ralph is holding out with resto pics.

hmmmm....perhaps Ralph is cutting corners and doesn't want us to see :eusa_think:

What is Ralph restoring?

Just came in from looking at a 97 Saudi Diablo VT Convertible. Probably $100k for a 22,000 km car with no service history.

No idea what it is worth, but dealing with Dubai dealers is such a pain, as the initial ask price is complete B.S.

The engine room of 1121036... just a few bits to return to factory original.

Note the heads still have the tan color finish from the factory cast.

Engine never out, no bead blasting or tank bath.

16,000 KLM original engine.

Original clutch.

OMG

Tony, you need to get that engine a little dirty! We need to see more pictures of it out in public driving. :)

Maybe I should call and ask about the car. This happened once before with a dealer in Montreal.

Probably the M.E. mentality !

You go into a souk/market, and they expect you to haggle on the price.

sure would be nice to see them progressing! Some of us get off on restoration threads and are especially fond of CT's and early 911S's...

good to see the Box is gone - you are really cleaning up your situation! lol!

just one photo of the 911S...please :eusa_pray:

It is not that bad. Of course the pic looks scary. I also have the original size 4.5" 67S Fuchs rims. The engine runs. The car spent most of it's life in Medford, OR. The weather is similar to N. Calif. I have not started any restoration work.

The early 911's are just pure sex on wheels. I drove a '66 model 911 as my daily driver for 9 years. You are going to LOVE that ride!! Wish like hell I could have that car back, :eusa_wall:
