I have seen a few posts here and their on different forums of Murcielago's going for 80k to 100k at auctions etc.

Does anyone have real examples? year/mileage/condition etc.?

Why exactly was wrong with the 65k and 53k ones for them to go at those prices?

Shitbox covers it I think.

Usually bad paint/bodywork overworn interiors unmaintained engine compartments and tasteless mods. Seeing uncared-for cars indicates probable high 20-30k maintainece needs.

Hard to think of a decent Murcie ever being under $100k, but their production volume was fairly high over that span.

How low did the Diablo go before it appreciated back up a bit the past few years? What was the floor?

Will be hilarious to watch the guy that pays 60k for a Murcielago then has to do a major service and brakes and clutch for 20k.

Wow, there would have to be a lot wrong with it for me to pass on a Murci for $53-65k lol. I'm a big DIY guy that does all my own maintenance (even engine builds, transmission work, etc) and that sounds pretty hard to not come out on top if one is capable of doing their own work.

For the murci guys, are the significantly more high maintenance than the Gallardo? I always tell people my Gallardo is pretty good...for an exotic. I'd say they run pretty long lengths mileage-wise before needing much. Is the same true for the Murci or do they trend back towards the maintenance whore side of things? I've never really heard anyone say how DIY-friendly the murci is...the Gallardo isn't bad at all.

The cars in several of these Manheim examples had unrepaired body damage. Several had fried engine computers as well. None of the sub $80k cars that have been at auctions would have been road worthy for less than $20k in parts.

many do not realize how easy is to spend 30k euro in a V12 lambo.....as already been said it is usually a good idea to spend more and get a good one !

I remember last year a green Murcie went for $85k at Barrett Jackson, I could not believe it, they had to really push to get it to 85.
