As usual no 1-foot rollout.

Translating into Motor Trend/Car and Driver/Road and Track methodology they got :

0-60mph - 2,4s

1/4mile - 10,3s @ 134mph

216.37 is HIGHER than 216.18 Is it.. or is it not.. :eusa_think:

LOL. 1/10 mph. The wind changing direction probably makes more than much of a difference. You are really stretchin' it here to make the 12C come out as being better anyway you can it seems.

It stayed rough .2s behind all the way up to 1000m and at that point was rough 5mph slower. Both are very quick, but I think the Aventador's 134mph is faster than the 12C's.

Just pointing the facts... Not to mention if history is repeated the U.S. Aventador will be slower than the Euro car due to the addition of additional cats, just like Euro Murcis had 2, as did the Euro Diablo, and the U.S. models had 4..

No, not really, I just think that the 1/10mph difference can be ignored and that the Aventador will be going faster than it rather soon, being that over the next 600m it is up 4.5 mph.

As for the US spec being slower, I dunno. Maybe. Who knows? Though if the US spec Aventador is slower, why wouldn't the US spec McLaren be as well?

Completely unrelated, I'd just like to say you're crazy if you spend $400-500K on a 599 GTO.

Because as far as I know the Mclaren is built the same for everywhere.. while the Lambo is not. I agree on the GTO..

Allan, sorry, but a 458 would get dusted so hard it wouldn't know where either the McLaren or the Aventador went. I don't think you actually know whether or not the Aventador is any different in the US than in Europe. I would guess not, Euro emissions standards are far above US right now, and there is a reason for that huge exhaust box and fanatical engine control; it passes Euro 5 level 2

Both the Diablo and Murcielago, which also have the huge exhaust box were different.. We will see when we look underneath the Aventador..

What exactly is a 1-foot rollout? Starting the timer after 1 foot, or rolling slowly 1 foot before flooring it?

From the numbers it looks like the McLaren and the Aventador would be virtually identical from a roll.

The Lambo seems to have the advantage from dig because of the awd but that´s about it.

What I find really surprings though is that it is quicker around the track than the faxmachine? Hard to believe with the additional weight the aventador packs.

Impressive indeed. If these cars do pretty much have the same performance for straight line speeds/accelerations you'd see on a track (0-250kmh,) then it's pretty damn impressive that the 4000 lb Lamborghini is quicker around it.

Well from recent tests the aventador is 5-6 seconds quicker to 300 (albeit not in the same conditions). Given similar 0-200 times it looks like beyond that the aventador is much quicker...which makes sense given a 100 hp advantage that it can use to overcome air resistance.

That´s what´s strange, from this test we can see that both seem to be equal up to 200 and that the LP seems to pull slightly from 200 to 250(0.4s) so how can there be a difference of more then 6sec from 250-300??
