lambornima Report post Posted October 26, 2011 That´s what´s strange, from this test we can see that both seem to be equal up to 200 and that the LP seems to pull slightly from 200 to 250(0.4s) so how can there be a difference of more then 6sec from 250-300?? The difference will likely be less when tested on the same day and location, but from the times posted the difference up to 250 is 0.4 seconds but by the time the LP is at 278 the mp4 isn't even at 270. The faster you go the greater the air resistance. It's because of this you you might only need 100hp to go 100mph, but 400+ (four time as much) to get to 200mph. xecutor Report post Posted October 29, 2011 When it comes to the MP4-12C and Aventador, judging by the 0-1km times (and MPH) the Lambo would be pulling on the Mclaren. Maybe not by much but it still would. It would be a very close race none the less and I don't think anyone would be disappointed owning either the Aventador or MP4-12C.
