Damn. What a scam! Sorry you got fucked :(
It is a bummer to say the least. But this is not over yet I will not take this without a court fight.

Might have been easier for Evans to point out what wasn't wrong...probably a shorter list.
I forgot a page I will post it also.

By any chance, does #11 belong to one of the plug wires that was swapped?

Yes it was 11 and 12 spark plug wires that was crossed.

I got the car and report from George Evan's Automotive in Columbus Ohio his phone number is 614-471-7535. He say's that it is the worst Countach that he has ever seen.

Not surprising considering the information out there on this car. Most of it boils down to crappy body/paint work, hack mechanic(s), and deferred maintenance.

This just went to the BBB in Fl. about Paul's car Inc. I will be filing one in the state of Ohio also. If I can post this on other sites tell me about them and I will post it. I have all of the reports that show that I am right from George Evans.

This 1985 Lamborghini Countach was advertised as a really nice car. This is an $83,000 car. I have all of the ads and pictures that they put online http://www.tonyrienzi.com/ and an ebay and other site's showing the car.I talked to Tony Rienzi 407-538-0224 and Paul Sawyer 352-242-0101. I have tried to deal with them to take the car back since buying it.

I did not go and look at this car in person. They have filed a law suit against me in Fl.for As Is.The As Is papers that I signed does not stand up to fraud. I am also taking them to court. I took them at their word, youtube video and the picture's for the condition of the car. When the car got dropped off at my place I knew that I had been taken. It did not even want to back out of the trailer because it was running so bad. The paint job on it was junk and the wife even made a comment about it was not even a 20 footer and that the car was really bad and it needed to get back to Fl.

I just got the report from Evans Automotive in Columbus Ohio 614-471-1199. George Evans is one of the best Lamborghini specialists in the world. The report say's the car needs a total restoration and it is the worst Countach that he has ever seen. He will talk to anyone about the condition of this car. This car was grossly misrepresented.

Tony and Paul did a great job of photo shopping on this car and covering up all of the defects. Tony did admit online that he dubbed the sound on the video. I also have the youtube

video showing the car running and at the 1:30 to 1:36 second mark the key is not in the ignition(the things that you notice too late). They had to dub the sound in the video to cover up the missing. They reversed #11 and #12 spark plug wires to stop it from smoking. When tested #11 cylinder 15% leak down.

I have tried real hard to get them to get this car out of my life and back to Fl. They don't want this car back because of it being so bad. They have refused to negotiate any type settlement.

Can a mechanic or someone smarter than me explain how crossing spark plug wires can make a smoking car stop smoking? I'm genuinely curious.

They make the cylinder not burn the fuel (or oil and fuel). They dub the sound to cover up the miss. According to George Evans he has seen this done in the past on cars. He is the who told me about reversing the wires to make it quit smoking. You end up with it missing but at least it doesn't smoke.

That sucks. All that gas washing the cylinder can't be good for it but wouldn't unburned fuel cause a car to smoke more? I've been to drag races where the cars were not tuned right (too rich, unburned gas) and they were smoking like snoop dogg down the track.

Russell, you're a jackass. If you would have purchased the car via ebay, it would have been perfect. You chose to purchase it outside of ebay and this is what you get. :aiwebs_017: :eusa_wall:

All I see from George Evan's Report is a description of a car that is 29 YEARS OLD.......not perfect by any means....... a car that was bought way under market value if it was perfect.....a car that was sold as is....you bought it sight unseen....how about ending this SOAP OPERA and just wait to see what the court hands down for a decision before making anymore of THE SAME POSTS over and over. :icon_oak: :icon_oak:

OK what part of misrepresented does't click? You really need to read his adds on the car and look at the pictures. He did not sell or advertise this car as needing a total restore. As far as the soap opera I don't think think you would like to have had this happen to you. Are you trying to say that a man's word isn't worth shit?

Russell, by no means are any of us ,including myself, happy about the fact that your purchase wasn't as described. We've talked many times and I have always considered you an upstanding person. As I have said before I have had a few purchases off the internet that I bought sight unseen..and a couple were not as exactly as described. I didn't sue the seller, because I should have gotten off my fat ass and got on a plane and I bought them "As Is". The condition of a vehicle is an OPINION...sometimes the sellers just bullshit the condition to get a sale (Especially a USED CAR DEALER!!) sometimes,in their eyes the condition is one thing, where others might disagree. For example "paint overspray on certain parts of the car or a few oil leaks" Some might not care (me being one of them if I got a great deal on the car pricewise ) and then there are others that are ANAL about their autos and and they wouldn't be happy.IMO the market on the Countach at the time you bought it was probably in the 135K--150K range. If I saw one advertised for @ $80K FROM A DEALER...I would have taken the plane trip, because "If something appears to be too good to be true, its probably is" comes into play.If it were true I'm sure a LP member would have snatched it up in a heartbeat. I am by no means sticking up for the seller...BUT COME ON...what did you expect for that price? This is not a personal attack, its just when I fcuk up..I'm the only one that I blame. .

I bought my se30 sight unseen from the Internet with a negotiated condition that if that once delivered to an independent ppi in my area turned out not to my satisfaction, I could send car back and get my money back. It all boils down to the company or seller selling the car and their reputation. Fortunately the company I dealt with stood by their product they were selling because they actually owned the car, maintained it, fixed whatever needed fixing. While I feel homework needs to be done prior, many people I know purchase their cars sight unseen with the inherent trust in the seller to do the right thing. That being said, it has become less and less possible to purchase cars in this manner since more brokers and flash in the pan companies crop up without vested interest other than to make a fee or make a quick profit. Unfortunately your trust in people was taken advantage of simply because of it.

Phil this is not minor things on this car it is total misrepresented. I could have over looked a lot of things but not a total wreak. I have said the whole time it is my fault for not looking at this car in person. But what he done is wrong and and to let him off the hook without a fight just would not be right. I have taken a lot of heat about this car and I will tell at times it is rough admitting that you got conned and made a fool out of. I could have tried to save face and just ditched this car and never said a word but that would have left Tony off the hook.
