Me and Jpegs are talking offline and he suggested they are probably here on student visas just like the 9/11 hijackers and are students at MIT where they gained info to build these devices.

 

Cop that was killed probably noticed them and realized they matched the description...approached them and asked for ID and they panicked and shot him.

Its a lot of work to get into MIT and work through an EE course load just to fcuk with people. And honestly, these feel wildly unsophisticated for the ego/knowledge of an MIT student.

 

I'm sadly going with option two.

To learn how to build these bombs all you need is an internet connection, not an MIT education.
