It is hard to believe they would downplay there top speed by 10 MPH The story is posted by a reputable site who knows maybe they were hoodwinked. The F1 has a drag coefficient of .32 while the Spider is closer to .36, but there is a huge difference in drag between 215 and 240. It could, all the other performance numbers increased. All the factory numbers were posted before the update, after the update there were all the private posting from the track showing how much faster the 12c was, that was just about the time the dealer incentives came out and most all the 2012 were selling out.
