Nice account by the way, I bet you have loads of fun with that. It must be an awesome time there, sitting on your computer.

Anyways, I have been extremely successful in investing and have a business online selling products among other things.

Some live in the past, some live in the present but that's soooo yesterday, I live in the future where everything is possible because it hasn't happened yet!!!

That's the bomb homie! You should try it, it works :icon_thumleft:

Disclaimer:

In the meantime you must have wealthy parents to mooch off, if everything fails mooching will continue because the future is ALWAYS the future, you get it now? My plan can not fail!!

So now that that is over....Murcis came out in 01 and LPs came out in 07? We haven't really seen a clean no story LP under 200k yet right? So I would say we are at least another 6 years and a pretty big leap in the car away from hitting that number.

Damn, late to the party. I'll throw out some prudent advice in hopes of reviving this thing.

Adam, if I was your parents and I knew of your plans I would let you take care of paying for your own med school. $300,000 is probably right around what it will cost them. After med school your residency is going to last another 3+ years of you making around $60,000 a year while working 100+ hours a week. If you do the math that's around $10 an hour. If you plan on being a specialist you are then looking at another 2-3 years of fellowship while making $70,00-$90,000 a year.

That means that you can push back your plans for financial glory by AT LEAST five years. Taking the MCAT at 19 hardly qualifies you as "practically being in med school". If you still have three years of undergrad left it was just a waste of money and time. If you think your life is going to be anything but hell until you are at least 30 while following this path you need to reevaluate your plans. The likelihood of you having time to enjoy driving a car more than an hour or two a month is not very high. Sleep will be your number one priority. Save the money and dream about Aventadors.

You let logic get in the way of dreams. Buzz killer

Adam,

This is all a lie. You will graduate by 22 and be making $500K by 23. Works that way for all the doctors. You will have bitches on both arms, bling hangin around your neck, carz in the the driveway. Its all good. Don't listen to the haterz.

Op. It's good to have dreams. $200k for an aventador by 2015 is really a big dream. Maybe purchase the new gallardo replacement. Should be in that ball park and if it is better than the current lp570 than it will be no slouch as I've owned one before the aventador. I'd say go get a lp570 performante in a few years and tt it. Performante should be below $200k by then and a good tt kit would be an additional $69-100k. With a warranty. Just make sure to have respect for the cars power and don't get yourself killed. A 1000 hp tt gallardo isn't going to respect you and won't be sorry if it hurts your feelings. ;)

If he comes back and reads this, which he probably will, there is a good chance he will shed a tear.

Instead of planning on dropping every dime you have on a car that will only depreciate seems backwards to me. Why don't you take the money you've made and make intelligent financial investments with it, this way, you won't have to wait for the car you want to depreciate. Instead, you will be able to go out and buy what you want when you want.

I bet you this kid's parents would shit bricks if he told them about his plan to blow all his life savings thus far on a shiny car. Even if he did go ahead and buy it, I wouldn't be surprised if they made him sell it or have him start paying for his own shit afterwards.

Also, why would anyone ever spend that kind of money on a car before buying a roof over their heads? Owning property is 100x more badass.
