AudiBull Report post Posted October 3, 2013 Ok, so my plan for Sunday is to make some kebab using the Iranian saffron my friend smuggled back for me. I'm going to try to follow this SUPER AUTHENTIC recipe I found. I will then substitute and make sure it is half pork. The whole time I'm preparing, grilling, and eating them I will make sure I have my official pork kebab shirt on. I think I may even have to build or find some of those kebab skewers. Looks simple but effective. Wooden skewers suck anyway. I MIGHT try to follow the recipe and use just beef. We'll see.

Modo Report post Posted October 3, 2013 Infidel shirt is awesome. Score on the saffron, that's the read deal. These are the skewers to get (I prefer the wooden handles): Kabob (I actually mean kebab) skewers And if youre really gonna do it right you need a Mangal

AudiBull Report post Posted October 3, 2013 Camping "kabobs". This is what I think of when I see it spelled that way. Chunks of meat on a stick with veggies. This was beef filet, lamb tenderloin, and venison tenderloin with zucchini, mushrooms, onions, and bell peppers. Perfect thing to prepare ahead of time and bring on a camping trip. No cleaning up, and you can just throw the stick in the fire. I also just noticed that LP underlines Kabob (I actually mean kebab) as misspelled but not kebab. Ha! P.S. Your links died but I still found them, thanks.
