Modo Report post Posted October 13, 2013 Now I have to admit confusion - I thought you were referring to the pickled veggies with tadig - am I having a lost-in-translation moment? Torshi is the pickled veggies. Thadig is the crispy rice.

Modo Report post Posted October 13, 2013 +1 surprized they serve Fessenjan. Seems like most Persian places don't make it as it isn't very popular with American palates. If they do it is usually very subdued and not sour at all. Either way menu looks fairly good. Hope you enjoy Fessenjan is good as long as you don't look at it ,lol
AudiBull Report post Posted October 13, 2013 If anyone is near Chicago this place and this one are both good. I was going to save these for Halloween, but I guess it's close enough. I hate cat memes, but this one is alright. Apparently these are really popular in Sweden. I want to try one while slammered Hey, Cappy... No time for kebab this weekend or next. Kebabfest is in two weeks though...

TRANSAMERA Report post Posted October 15, 2013 Well, I tried my hand at Kebob (I actually mean kebab) (I actually mean kebab) (I actually mean kebab) tonight. Flavor was good, I probably could have cooked it a bit longer. I think I may have put too much meat On The skewer. It wouldn't turn as easy as I expected considering the special flat skewers. I will definitely do this again. But that is not kebab, that is shish kebab! I will give you that they look really great and A+ on effort. I am actually eating e breakfast kebab right now, I am hard. Modo Report post Posted October 16, 2013 Played hokey today and took the roadster for a cruise, came across a Persian market. They all sell prepared Kabob (I actually mean kebab) (I actually mean kebab) meat so I'm going to try them all for the perfect place. The only time hokey is worthwhile is if it involves pokey. That's what it's all about.
