I've loved the Hermeras for years, finally get them, then the Aventador wheels have to go ahead and totally mess with my mind. lol Somebody was willing to give someone the Date Codes! Assman Report post Posted July 3, 2014 dude this is awesome! I really want to know if you're able to make those Aventador wheels fit without too much trouble. I'm surprised NOONE has tried it yet. At least Nick knows what he's doing.

HannibalACP82 Report post Posted July 4, 2014 Well Rhyno put SV wheels on a Diablo roadster...someone might as well put Vent wheels on the Murci!
whiteout Report post Posted July 4, 2014 I'm surprised NOONE has tried it yet. At least Nick knows what he's doing. I'm glad it comes off that way. I have to get a few things done before these can be test fitted on the car. I was planning to have them on before this weekend, but plans got pushed back. Hopefully next week sometime. whiteout Report post Posted July 11, 2014 I installed the Aventador wheels tonight annnnnnnd they fit! ... sort of. The bolt pattern is the same for the Murci/Aventador so everything lines up. But then there are some differences. Front: Murci has hubcentric brake rotors, ie a small lip on the rotor that the wheel rests on. Aventador doesn't have this. So the center of the Aventador wheel doesn't clear the lip. LP640: Aventador: To fit Aventador wheels, the front require a spacer to clear the lip, machine down the lip on the brake rotor, or have the hub of the wheel bored out. Here is a 5/8" spacer on my Corvette that clears the hubcentric lip: Rear: The rear Aventador wheels bolt up, but the offset is much less aggressive than the Murci's. To fit Aventador wheels, some 1.5-2" spacers and new, longer wheel lugs are required. They do look fantastic on the car though: With that said, I'm going to run the Hermera's and sell the Aventador wheels.
Assman Report post Posted July 11, 2014 You could probably sell the wheels and spacers as a kit for decent $
whiteout Report post Posted July 11, 2014 Then I would have to talk myself out of keeping them. lol

whiteout Report post Posted July 14, 2014 I just measured the wheels, here are the differences. Space from the back of the hub to the rear lip: Front LP640 - 7" Rear LP640 - 7.5" Front LP700 - 6 3/8" Rear LP700 - 8.5" LP640 front hub diameter - 7mm LP700 front hub diameter - 5.5mm
BLK TONY Report post Posted July 14, 2014 Yeah, the Murci has a damn low offset and unfortunately the Avy doesn't.
whiteout Report post Posted July 22, 2014 spacers make the rears look fantastic I bought some spacers for the front, but they don't clear the rotor retainer bolts. So I either have to pull those to make the spacer fit, or the wheels' center bore could be increased a few mm to clear the Murci hub. I think running with a bigger center bore is the way to go. I propped up the front wheel for an idea of how the car would look on Aventador wheels (it's not totally in the wheel well):
Chipster Report post Posted July 22, 2014 So hard to see black wheels well. Doesn't look bad though IMO. I don't know if I like them more than Hercules
emanon Report post Posted July 22, 2014 I think running with a bigger center bore is the way to go. I'd find someone with a rotary vise on their mill and turn the wheels to fit your hub. Jigging it up will take longer than doing the cutting. What kind of spacers are you running in the rear? The setup that uses factory studs and has a secondary clocked set of studs?
