VBUGKING's 50th Anniversary Aventador Roadster

I don't have Instagram but my girlfriend does. A picture of this amazing blue Aventador roadster popped up on her instagram because she's been looking at Lambos recently on there. She showed me and I immediately knew who's it was as I said to her, "I recognize those garage doors".

Any feedback as to the car itself?

 

 

What are your thoughts on it compared to the rest you have had?

 

Thanks. The car feels more sorted than previous years. Not a huge difference over a 2014, but very much so over a 2013 and especially a 2012. The transmission software just keeps getting better and better. With the 2015s you don't have to let the transmission warm up before it smooths out and stops bucking at low speeds. It drives great right after cold start. The 2015s have bar mode which is cool, and I love the engine crossbar in carbon fiber. As far as the 50th part, its mostly cosmetic, and that along with its exclusivity makes it worth the price. It looks a lot better and has a lot more presence than a normal Aventador IMO. This is the first one I have had that has the upgraded sound system, and I wasnt expecting much, but it's a very noticeable difference. I am still deciding on whether or not to do an upgraded exhaust. With the factory exhaust software tune it sounds good, but a full exhaust replacement like Kreissieg would probably be a much more dramatic difference.

Thanks, I really love the full alcantara with the blue q citura combo. The interior feels like a million bucks.

Congrats this is my favorite car hands down I would take that over a Bugatti anyday sorry to say. Enjoy in good health with your amazing collection I wish I picked up a 50th when I heard about them guess I will wait till the Sv comes. Can't wait for a collection shot from you.

 

I agree that this looks better than the Bugatti, the Aventador is an amazing design. The Veyron is on another level in a lot of ways, but it really doesnt matter, the Aventador covers all the bases. The roofless option on the Aventador Roadster, and the fact that you can take it with you, is a huge plus in my eyes. The Aventador coupe is great, but I dont think I would ever want to own the coupe version as long as there is a roadster option. The SV may up just being a hardtop, and if thats the case, I dont see myself picking one up.

Thanks for letting me shoot this monster! The more I was editing those pictures the more I began to realize that this color just doesn't get any better. I didn't think anything could beat verde ithaca but blue nethuns on a 50th Anniverary Aventador takes the cake! Can't wait to get some group shots when the Huracan arrives!

Same here. I had not seen a full size 50th in person before mine, I was a little nervous there wouldnt be a huge difference. I had my model for a few months now, so I had been staring at that.

Great car and congrats. Since you have had both leather and alcantera do u have preference? Pro and cons .

 

I prefer the full Alcantara by a lot. I dont see any cons to it....

 

This is the best looking 50th on the planet! Tanner takes the best photos and they still do not do the color justice. Thanks for letting me be part of the delivery experience brother. Looking forward to more good times in our cars together and a little bit of Jameson as our after dinner snack.

Thanks, the interior blew my mind when I first saw it in person. I dont have a lot of interest in the SV unless they make a roadster version, and even then, I prefer the less hardcore driving versions for the top down experience.
