I was driving both cars with the vbox, watch the video, you can see me on it till 158 MPH: after 11 seconds the 720S is going almost 19 MPH faster....

yea, I drove the Performante on the 10.7 pass.... It will prob go 10.4 like my Huracan did, maybe a 10.3 with some better weather and track prep, the 30HP is probably offset by the Aero... the vbox numbers for both cars are there, the 720S is just ridiculous, 4 second advantage to 150 MPH..

had a great time hanging with DoctaM3 and crew... and we got into the 9's with the 720S...

yep, speedo's in Lambo's have been off for years, not sure why they don't fix it.... obviously these days they are doing it on purpose...

he was great.... very funny....

just get the brakes bedded before stomping down from 150 MPH at the track.... the trip up should take care of that....

The Peformante is awesome, no question about it. However, for me as a current Huracan owner who isn't hitting the road course all the time, it just didn't have enough "have to have it right now" for me to turn my Huracan in plus another $120k at this point. The 720S on the other hand is a completely new car from it's predecessor and gives the "holy shit this car is just ridiculous" feeling, everything about it is just next level, except the exhaust sound. I plan on getting the sport or aftermarket exhaust to address that.

my 720S with the Perfomante.... I drove the Performante for a bit, ride is much harsher than my Huracan, seems to shift more aggressively, sounds incredible... awesome car, but 90% of the time I wouldn't know I'm in a different car, so I won't be upgrading right away...

revs aren't limited, it pulls to redline, but I'm sure the boost or something else is, they do a great job of managing the power...

very stable, they must be increasing power/boost as the speed increases....

with the launch edition cars, you get what you get, they are coming at at $330-370k depending on the misc 'carbon' and other options. my car was $331k no carbon at all. if you place a custom order they are looking at April delivery. If was placing a custom order it would have been around $321k.

720S hold it's own against the P100D launch....

so bland, lets cut some big ugly squares in the front bumper, add a bigger wing with some more HP, 700HP is awesome to see, but this is the last 700HP car I would ever buy... the ONLY Porsche I would probably own is the CGT and 918... at least they don't look like every other million porches on the road...
