  1. The stereo I had in my LP640 has been the stereo I've ever owned and will use the same parts in future builds. I had a Clarion Double DIN HU running to Audison Bit One processor to a 4 Channel Hertz amp hidden in the front running Dynaudio 7" split setup and Audison Thesis 10". I think adding a processor will be helpful for the roadster as it can run a few setups. Roof down and roof down. I had windows up and windows down as different acoustics. Good Luck
  2. I've been happy with my IPE exhaust on my LP640 it sounds not much different to the white LP640 but not as loud but shrieks like an F1 and it still has cats and switch different modes. I dynoed my car pre IPE but with Larini muffler and it was an 8% improvement. I wanted a KSG but had difficulty communicating with them and didnt have local dealer. IPE responded immediately and KSG prices is 30% more than IPE. Service and shipping I was happy with. Can't comment about the Aventador, one think is for sure stock is quiet and restrictive. Havent seen an aftermarket one is that is not LOUD and spits flames

Example of real world testing is aventador changing wheel setup to staggered in the Dione wheels and suspension tweaks cos they probably didn't do a lot of city driving, crap roads and start stop traffic due to the secretive nature of new models. Buyer dependent I suppose some want to be first on the block no probs.
  4. lamboperth- Sydney dealer advised $465K drive away. I think NSW stamp is more than WA. Which is the same price as a 3 year old F458 so great pricing.
  5. Fortis- after looking at euro option list and pricing, OZ has got competitive pricing. Standard we are getting- lifter, magnetic ride, navigation, full electric heated seats for 300k Euro only 25% more not bad for weak dollar and our high taxes. Should spare a thought for our asian friends who pay nearly $US1m for a Huracan
  6. so looking at those production numbers Lambo more rare than RR by a fair amount obviously because of the Ghost.
  7. Just saw the car at private viewing at new Sydney dealer so had quality time. I think Lambo or maybe the new dealership are getting quite serious in getting pre orders than in the past. Had configurator already prepared except dash shows Veneno instrument panel as option. My comments: - Much better in person than in pics and like many have said interior is great. Not sure if room was dark but windshield looked small and outlook to the front doesnt seem right. Engine sounded great. - Price in Australia is a home run compared to Gallardo, 458 and MP4 especially with some of the standard equipment and is nearly half price to Aventador. Also we get magnetic ride as standard ? I thought this was one that would be left as option. Also there is a dynamic power steering option ? - Clear engine bonnet you get the new carbon finish which IMHO i didnt like. - 458 steering wheel people felt ackward but Huracan has done identical including sport, corsa on the steering wheel - OZ car was in metallic brown. Fortis- sports exhaust upgrade is like aventador software update. Asia pac rep says not available from day one and in Australia you have to sign disclaimer. You can hear difference on startup between the modes but once warm difference not as big but bridges gap for those not wanting to go aftermarket. Also Rosso Mars on configurator i like with the bicolor interior and red stitching. I'd like to own a 2nd/3rd year production car or the later Spyder when tweaks are made and more options are available. Car leaves Sydney tomorrow to go to another dealership. Order bank is 8 months at the moment. Look forward to hearing and seeing the reviews and official test. Finally a replacement!

  9. I dont have a G anymore but had straight pipes and LOC so much easier on Pre LP and sound was sweet and the flames. Now got IPE on LP640 and it sounds insane couldnt be happier and the remote, workmanship and customer service as they spoke in english. Exhaust in stock delivered in less than a week. I did dyno and got 10% increase with the IPE. with the IPE you can just get muffler and X pipe and no headers and stock cats for the 570.
  10. It wasnt my first choice for colour but in Australia its very rare only 3 and mine is manual as well. Most go for a wilder color. But with tints, lowered and the plates, the car gets a crazy amount of attention and positive comments and a few friends repainted their cars to match the car. Grigio on Gallardo is very different. I've got the dual tone alcantara interior with the silver CF. Thanks.
  11. thanks all fixed. Line was damaged due to heat from extractors. Yeah had to clean up engine bay.
  12. This just happened to my car 07 LP640 yesterday under hard acceleration got onto some hot components guessing exhaust as smoke was coming through engine cover. Pulled over straight away, red coolant was leaking to the road. Had the car towed back home, guessing its the hose. Trying to organise a mechanic to replace the part. Jeff- will coolant damage any of the components ? Should I have engine bay cleaned up ? Cheers. Nico
  13. Mike I got rid off my kenwood nav nearly 2 years back with clarion and upgraded rest of system. To be honest doesn't matter brand if your going to extent of pulling out console and head unit. As the oem kenwood doesn't control any car controls. I also did rear view camera when I did this. Good luck

  15. Wow so many aventadors in Surabaya. Hope the roads are better than in JKT. New markets always prefer launch colours and friends always want similar colours as their friends.
  16. I've got an Innotech Exhaust (IPE) its not on your list but it has an awesome exhaust for the aventador and it has a remote to control the valves. Quite a few have installed this exhaust.
  17. I got my suspension guy to do it. Fronts is lifter kit, rears are easy twin shocks. I'm running 20"s, so 19"s better fit.
  18. I've been running 235/30 20 and 345/25 20 for a month now. In saying so 19" front is the better size in terms of drive and visual. No probs with TCS. but rubbing under full lock. In terms of front diff I ordered from Whiteout so will be going RWD. Pray for me
  19. This happened and still happens to me. Give White out suggestion a go, hopefully its a once off. Mine is hit and miss. Sometimes it'll go down itself or sometimes have to bypass manual mode.
  20. Is it a new exhaust ? Muffler only or replaced cats as well ? I had this on mine before and realised some of the steel wool was still inside and I mean a tiny bit. Sensors so sensitive

  22. Looking at the rationale above 235/30 20 and 345/35/20 would be under the range that would be safe. Its Nitto's on their website state 25.71 and 26.65= -.94 . But owner says never had TCS problems. hmm what to do.
