  2. How did you feel, when you had LM 002 in your rear-view mirror?
  3. Even 350 GT/400 GT convertible is there. What a rare car!
  4. According to Lamborghini's Twitter there will be also 100 Aventadors LP720-4 50th Anniversary ROADSTER
  5. Yes, that's right that ThethetheFerrari is similar to Enzo, but I like its design much more than Enzo's. I really love back of P1, but the front is very boring. Black-gold Koenigsegg looks interesting, but I like more blue one from last year. I would really like to know, how the design of Veneno was made. For me, it look like designers just want to have some fun and draw the car like they were 6-years children. And this fact I really love, because Lamborghini is for me mad thing in a good way. On the other hand, I see that designers of P1 and ThethetheFerrari drew them not because of their style, but because of their aerodynamics.
  6. Well I saw, all three hypercars in Geneva during press days. I have to say, I like most design of the Ferrari, but it's name is really hideous. From all three, there were most people seeing Ferrari around. I also like McLaren, but interior is quite small, I think. The most extreme of all three is of course Veneno. I can't say, it's nice, but it's typical Lamborghini - extreme and agressive. It's out of this world, as I think Countach was back in seventies. RaginBull, congratulations for your car. Because I'm from Europe, I hope, I'll be able to see the car again at least in Lamborghini Museum.
  7. Very interesting news: The fastest car in Lamborghini’s 50-year history will be unveiled at the 2013 Geneva motor show in late March. Expected to showcase the latest in lightweight carbon fibre production techniques – Lamborghini is one of the leaders in carbon fibre – the new supercar is expected to be built in very limited numbers, possibly as few as two or as many as 10. Details of the secret new model remain sketchy and executives were keen to keep the lid on the surprise at this week’s Miami media launch of the Aventador Roadster. But the yet-to-be-seen model will be “a big surprise”, according to designer Filippo Prini. Advertisement Research and development head Maurizio Reggiano says the car – which is set for very limited production – will be road-ready. “It will be a homologated car,” he says. “We want it to be a tribute to the [upcoming 50th] anniversary of Lamborghini and we want to shock and reward.” Expect the new car to outgun the company’s multimillion-dollar supercar, the Sesto Elemento. The V10-powered supercar that pioneered new carbon fibre production techniques in cars was claimed to top 100km/h in 2.5 seconds. Reggiano says low volume and one-off cars – such as the radical Lamborghini Aventador J – will form an important part of the strategy for the brand, owned by Volkswagen. “One-off [cars] is part of our strategy,” says Reggiano, who adds that the brand doesn’t bother with show concept cars that it has no intention of producing. “Usually we present something because we want to produce or sell it.” He says buyers of one-off Lamborghinis – each typically paying multiple millions for the privilege of having something unique - are often loyal customers and pay for the car prior to production, “the majority of the time without seeing the car”. At the other end of the scale, Lamborghini is awaiting a replacement for its biggest selling model ever, the Gallardo. First released in 2003, the Gallardo has accounted for more than 13,000 of the 29,000 cars Lamborghini has produced since 1963, when it was known for building tractors. As with its more recent models, the replacement for the Gallardo (which, in-line with Lamborghini’s policy, will likely usher in a new name inspired by a fighting bull) is expected to have a lightweight carbon fibre body and be powered by a V10 engine. Further down the track is the Urus SUV, tipped to become one of the fastest off-roaders in the world. Revealed as a motor show concept car, the Urus could become the brand’s first turbocharged and first hybrid vehicle. Lamborghini chairman Stephan Winkelmann says the Urus could go on sale in 2017. While a turbocharged hybrid drivetrain appears likely – given the show car that has already been displayed – Winkelmann does not rule out diesel longer-term if it stacks up. However, he says there is no program, and no development work has begun. “Usually we have one model, one engine ... you need an engine which is able to be sold worldwide and diesel, unfortunately, is not. Up 'til now we don’t see any development in this direction,” says Winkelmann. “Urus it could be, but this means going forward into major volume, which I don’t think we’re going to do.” http://news.drive.com.au/drive/motor-news/...0205-2dv5k.html
  8. About price: In Europe, Roadster costs 300.000 Euros excluding tax, Coupé costs 255.000 Euros...
  9. Maybe they want to sell more Gallardos LP550-2 and LP570-4 than LP560-4. What I understand from press release, the look of LP550-2 will remain the same as now, just LP560-4 will get these hideous bumpers.

  12. First Aventador in the Czech Republic. Don't like the white rims:
  13. Hope, you'll enjoy your staying in Prague, but there's also so cold now...
  14. Has anybody got new Evo magazine? There is road test written by Chris Harris in which is Aventador compared with Countach Diablo and Murciélago. From evo.co.uk: COVER STORY: the greatest Lamborghinis The arrival of the Aventador (and its brand spanking new V12) was the perfect excuse to assemble a welcoming party. Can it top the respective pinnacles of Countach, Diablo and Murciélago development to become the best bull ever? Chris Harris decides

  19. Al Mardikian, a Californian distributor of the most beautiful and rare European exotics, was surrounded by a controversial reputation, due to the fact that some of the extraordinary cars that he offered to his whealthy clients were not "fully" compliant with Federal regulations ... Mardikian inspired the first scenes of "Rain Man", when Tom Cruise unsuccessfully tries to clear the US customs for a bunch of Lamborghini Countach and Ferrari... In addition, Mardikian created some of the the "Miami Vice" very special sports cars, that remain worldwide famous. This LP400 Spider is mentionned and pictured in most books relating the History of Lamborghini, and all enthusiasts know this over-outrageous version of the iconic Countach LP400. It's one of the very few open-top classic Lamborghini, all of which are extremely sought-after by collectors (Miura Roadster Bertone, Miura SVJ Spider, Touring 400GT spider, Pregunta, Raptor...). This Countach LP400 #1120262 was delivered on June 14th, 1977. It belonged for many years to Rod Stewart, a well-known Lamborghini enthusiast, who also owned two Miuras and a Diablo. The car was ordered in RHD as indicated in the factory documents ; however, since Rod Stewart was based in the USA at the end of the seventies, the car was then put in LHD configuration. First driven in Hollywood and surroundings, this car was re-imported into Europe (London) where it remained until 2002, with the English registration RMK 651 R (R stands for registrations made between August 1976 and July 1977). It remained very probably unused or scarcely driven during many years, before being purchased by the second and last owner, a man who launched a complete restoration of the engine 3000 km ago, by one of the best specialists. http://www.autodrome.fr/lamborghini_counta...ian.htm#english
