Great thread, Chip. I enjoy looking through and seeing progress. As already mentioned about the red plug wires, you can get custom ones ordered up. You can try browsing manufacturers from the Jegs or Summit parts catalog. You can order some quality wires at a fair price from them. Try calling them and speak to a rep to ask about the boot connector. They've got more resources on their computers and in their brains than they do on their website or catalog.

I tell myself the same thing, and sometimes I even forget what it is I have to look forward to. -

Next vid with your phone, put your finger over the mic piece when recording. Sux to hear about the re-re-build and trans swap twice swapped. Twice swapped, errrr I'm so bad. -

Well, even if it doesn't get finished for a while, I'm still looking forward to the end result. Do post VIDS of you roaming around in the car. -

So, I clicked on this thread and got taken to the last page. Scroll and here I thought a COP conversion took place, well it kinda' did, the 4.2 swap is interesting and completely a sneak attack to what I thought would be the case. I knew I had to take a peak at the first page when I saw the custom rear-sub frame. Wow. What were some of the things Turbo Joe said that needed to be changed that got the previous dude pissed? What about gear box? Audi unit too? Pics of the Tri-Five Chevy? -

It's nice to see you have taken the car this far. DIY CF is pretty cool too and didn't know that could be a DIY thing now. Is that an easy thing to do, where did you order the material and resin from? -
Old Ferrari Chat days. Back when Allan was loved.
Surpassing_The_Heavens posted a topic in Off Topic
I was digging through my backed up files yesterday and I found these three gems. The Chatters gave him hell back then. LOL. I don't get the Mr. T one, but the tractor is great. LOL. Whoever chopped the tractor-ASS one, used the same pic for the wheels of the SV one with Al, I mean Mr. T. BTW, the chopped ones are from 2003, and the bottom one is from 2005. Care to chime in on the Mr. T one, "Allanlamboner." <--More FC love. -
I suspect I was under the influence of my own habits of having the car started at least once a month when I made the last post.

I've read all the replies here, and I understand how people are saying a restore to non-Wallace spec would be a fortune, and probably not financially smart, however why not just offer 35k and use it as a driver? With all the advancements of moderrn EFI tuning, as well as all the many competent tuners in the turbo world, why not have it serviced at an indy shop, then sent to a reputable tuner shop and have a modern day standalone ECU, such as PRO EFI, installed and just enjoy it for what it is, a turbo Countach. It's not like it's falling apart, there's rust on the body or dents and smashed windows. If I were in the position to do so, I'd probably do this myself.

250k mile 400GT on Jay Leno's Garage

I'm glad you see it my way, wah, wah. -
Wow, I love classic cars, but this 400 GT is a real charmer. It's dreamy! The side profile is beautiful, and I love the roofline and shape of the front screen. I think it's interesting how the front nose of the car sweeps down so quickly. I image the view with that glass and nose is great! Of course, I thought of Ralf at around the 5 min mark. You guys are sleeping! I'm surprised no posted this. http://www.jaylenosgarage.com/at-the-garag...ini-400-gt-2-2/

Classic car guys are a quirky bunch.

I think that's what it's all about! Great work. I really like them.

Most likely it was a cat who pissed all over the console considering the cat hair. Urine is pretty corrosive, hence "our" porcelain and chrome toilets/urinals.

So Ralf, why do you think the prices have shot up so much? I was amazed at the 20k Islero, wow what a deal! Do you think the prices on the classic Lambos are reflecting the surge in prices of classic American cars, i.e. people are just riding the gravy train? Maybe there is still hope for me after the Impala.
