  1. Sounds promising, but how are the schools?
  2. all that weight so far forward, must understeer like a mofo
  3. more likely a rented-salvaged-flooded-fire damaged-lemon lawed-off roaded-smoked in-family car with lots of dogs that was seized by cops for hauling drugs and raw fish after someone was murdered in it. but the carfax was clean...

I expect this statement: "We can reunify if America removes its military presence from Seoul"

This is all looking very interesting today. CNN is burying this in favor of cryin' paul ryan headlines
  6. The whole movie feels like a clip show. Too many characters, half of them don't interact with each other, one main bad guy with some inconsequential soldiers, lots of loud bangs and crashes, nobody ever really gets hurt, but the people that die might surprise you. I mean isn't it always this in these Marvel movies: Bad guy shows up to collect something to gain ultimate power to destroy the universe while some good guys in-fight and have to overcome their differences to unite and defeat evil. In this case the bad guy adds in the attitude of an ex-wife, he wants half of everything.
  7. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust... It is 2.5 hours of the same loopholes of superpowers that could just end it all but are never used. It's just yet another comic book movie that lacks any depth or meaning and is only a commercial aimed at selling tickets for the next sequel. Cliffs: 1. Villain "Thanos" believes in consolidating powers and the lifeboat theory of economics. 2. everyone gets a fight scene 3. good and bad guys die 4. Peter Dinklage is HUGE, but needs a helping "hand" to get the fire started 5. Credits name more people than live in the state of Kansas and go on for 10 minutes 6. Post credit has me but it blows over fast
  8. A year ago I bought some festive things and a year later for a friend's 50th, I got to use some. This is all the video I have that I can share. https://www.instagram.com/p/BhnQWm2hqea/?taken-by=testshoot If you look real closely, you can see his skeleton like in a cartoon! And don't worry, those Marines already had PTSD, you can't blame me for that.
  9. Note: Axe body spray stinks of aggressive virginity, the cougars are sure to come running!
  10. It's cosplay for cars. But on the other hand, tuning up spec to get what you could not obtain otherwise is not a punishable offense.
  11. I too avoid sci-fi and fantasy things. Ozark was good, I like Entourage too, the rest I could not watch. If you like cop drama and don't mind subtitles, Berlin Babylon was good. Try Californication, and Lillyhammer, maybe Sneaky Pete and Patriot on Amazon. isn't that a documentary?
  12. one of our family friends is a writer on that show, i just never got in to it which is hard when you normally like their writing. I am going to try alias grace starting today
  13. the 720 pulled away dramatically quicker than i expected. Aero, light weight, the fact it is already rolling....
  14. yeah, the famous "wavefrom" from the "unknown pleasures" cover! that and her doc martins with torn tights, bomber jacket, it all fit that time perfectly. i swear i spotted the bauhaus "face" a few times too.
  15. the 80s references are not just blown out of proportion. Our Willy Wonka is a child of the 80s and he's what we today call an "influencer" so people consume his nostalgia as FOMO in the cultural zeitgeist. Kaanye makes crap sneakers, but you buy them. Apple farts in a box, and you'll say it is easier to use than the android fart in a box, but you can't talk facts, just to the popular vote. shit like that
  16. that is awesome, thanks for sharing
  17. i have this prediction that it will dip below 5k before it really re-ignites.
  18. Death of Stalin is a frenetic, clever, little film about the days after he died. It has the feel of a funny play, and moves like the end of "Clue". 9/10 General Zhukov is fcuking great. Isle of Dogs is another Wes Anderson over-styled quirk-fest. Animation and visuals are great, not enough character development. Likeable, but Fantastic Mr Fox was better plot though that film's animation was more like Robot Chicken. 6/10
  19. So we (IMAX) did our 3d screening tonight. It was not a typical Spielberg movie, it was kind of fun, flooded with nostalgic 80s references in a world or VR and the light parodies of our current over connected culture. The movie is about a quest, Goonies and ET where the adults don't get it. If you see it, the "Shining" inspired sequence was well done. Enjoyable, maybe for home viewing where you can freeze frame it and see all the Easter eggs. If you are in a good theater, when "Blue Monday" starts playing, it sounds great. The rest of the 80s music is well timed and even funny. It's a movie where the 3D was good, but not gimmicky, so see it in 3D or wait for home theater. 8/10
