  1. We are going to have to agree to disagree - all you who go back to prior years before the SV and Huracan are wasting good pixie dust. Have you sat in a Valkyrie - being 6'2 215 that thing is made for a racer in full gear and AMG can't put an F1 engine in a car and call it a car as it's not only incapable of being built it will also need an F1 team just like the Cosworth to run. Can you imagine the AMG or Valkyrie sitting on a trickle charger in a garage for months - the owner adds some air and goes on a spirited drive - both are a race car that requires race prep. These cars are not for the faint of heart or light wallet. Aston 003 - son of Valkyrie again seating position is racer tilt - still may grab one in roadster form but let's face it the V6TT over 1M with the 004 around the corner won't hold well at all. The thought of a V6TT battery as I am typing sends shivers down my spine it's so Ford Eco Boost. The ThethetheFerrari I love but it's not worth 3M and again might as well grab the SF90 for better performance and better looks. I don't know of a good super car battery pork hybrid - hybrid has a shelf life and at 125k per it's not if it goes out it's when. All you and others have seen is a few pictures - you can't bash the men at Lambo who have released a few photos or dig back car models ago to make an argument about their future. If the SV SVJ Performante and more to come didn't break ring records you would have some solid ground vs quick sand - touch of hybrid 850hp NA V12 rear engine wrapped in this package will live strong for a long long time.
  2. Have to laugh even though I respect you - proper battery as if everyone wants a V8 with pork sandwich that needs replacing every 5 years but If that's the case grab the SF90. Let's reflect by starting with Centodici - everyone says that is a body kit on the Chiron - add 6 million performance aero etc it's sold out and will always be at the top. Porsche built 918 cars including some W packages a65k paint jobs vs 63 and yet to hear a price as you stated with an increase from 2.6m nor have I heard 770hp NA and 30hp electric. None of which matters because Lamborghini sits above Porsche below Bugatti in the food chain and they (porsche) all look like the neighborhood bicycle but for the CGT Sian is an improved SVJ no different than a Centodici from a Chiron - suggest waiting to see some more information and pictures.
  3. 45 days V12 track form and soon a hybrid V12. I do think the 63 will be but who knows as the LB48 sets the tone for the next generation. In the past I was the furthest thing from a Lambo buyer - today the brand is the best out there. Carbon tub roadster V12 there is nothing in it's class plus it's ridiculously fast on track and the Huracan even faster what is there not to like. Not a fan of turbo's battery pork - it's cheap short term power gain long term inconsistent failure. Game changing photos - hoping to make Frankfurt.
  4. It's a matter of time - VW's other brands offsetting costs first Lambo last. Winkelman moved when he was spending too much money - not so sure it worked out so well. Chiron that is almost stalled as they can not make a roadster producing 5 & 10million dollar editions. Guess V10 is almost done - V12 tub design does not allow twin clutch but will receive new tech to make it lighter and faster which if they can not improve the brakes may work out. Ferrari decided to not go with the CF tub but invest in new engines - adding hp and weight is not an advantage street tires can only handle so much. Lambo won't ditch the AV - plenty of meat left on the bone by using Audi hybrid quattro 5 years ago which I think was the e-tron plan all along.
  5. I would not trust any pictures or press magazines - while some pictures are in the ballpark it's not reality the car isn't yet reality. The aero good or bad works and it's what is breaking record ring times. Keep in mind Lambo is not adding cheap turbo power and still performing with Ferrari Mclaren Porsche like the GT2RS just add water to the turbo's and or pork batteries it's a horrible direction in comparison. A 2 3 400 lb battery hybrids need to be driven as that size batteries is too large for a trickle charger - P1 918 etc batteries are failing at 100k+ per.
  6. Guessing LB48 sets the tone for new AV - at 63 units doubt anyone will test it's performance. Love the LE's based on standard models out of Lamborghini.
  7. It's got nothing to do with the value of paint and stickers. The 63 like any other brand that does the same is offered to special customers. Every brand does the same thing to reward their VIP's as did Ferrari 70th anniversary paint schemes. It's art - the buyer embraces the benefit of owning something more special as will the next owner. Is a rare color worth more - absolutely is a prior owner add to a cars value absolutely and so on. Porsche paint to sample cars sell for way more and customers die for those and Porsche just raised the price by multiples. Anytime you have a special car it's value is higher - not only in terms of dollar but it tells a story. 10 years from now - assure you a 63 roadster if it is which I believe the last NA V12 will fair better than a JOTA roadster.
  8. That is just wrong - go see the difference between a clean stradale and a striped or Ford GT Heritage and ... Feel free to share an example of your record my guess is you can not add Porsche has been tossing stickers for years appears to work out very well regardless the 63 Roadster paint scheme is sold out and there are many paint schemes and other items that were shared in Monterey.
  9. It was exactly the correct way to end the AV - 63 is a special car and it's the last NA V12. I could be wrong but ... 770hp rear engine V12 with record ring time in roadster form. Next closest V12 roadster add 2M.
  10. No warranty buying and selling is a lot of brain damage and we all know maintenance isn't cheap. Lease run thru a company full warranty new car - two different thought processes. Wheeling and dealing on a used McLaren - mine listed 310k bought it for 230k with 1000 miles 18 months later sold it for 165k 3500 miles and spent 10k on maintenance. Some brands - it's better to lease Mac is one of them.
  11. Coupe is pretty cool - but could not get an allocation. Luckily this one is confirmed
  12. Doubt there is a new engine outside the V8 URUS or it would be going in the LB48. My guess LB48 tech will be seen later in the AV -expect a lot of short very profitable le runs. Ferrari and Aston producing 1000hp with a lot more weight.
  13. SF90 debut dealers were selecting owners for allocations - August published pricing / production dates. Winkelman and others did spend but given the desire of parts sharing VAG is a bean counter run company. Best thing for Lambo is to be spun off - otherwise it's VAG parts bin time. Aston V6TT - 1000hp SF90 V8TT - 1000hp expect more of the same.
  14. LB48 clay for owners - full size Frankfurt. Assume J63 rdstr others possible.
  15. Yes in a RL thread 8 months ago - didn't accept offers. Sold 3RS and SV is for sale.
  16. 63 Roadster - just a guess as they left that open by only introducing a coupe. Along the lines of Ferrari's Monza street legal would be a nice ending.
  17. Two years for the current 1700 J's and 63 of the LB doesn't fill up production. Not so sure one can tether the LB to the AV for it's last hoorah - LB is the begining of Lambo's next gen. One more version is my guess. Are we to jump to the successor [after the SVJ Roadster]? I think at the moment, we don’t foresee another [non-hybrid] version of the Lamborghini V-12. Porsche just pushed back their next all battery hyper car for many years I wouldn't expect any different from Lamborghini.
  18. 003 is street legal version of the Valkyrie - 004 is a prototype so who knows. The 003 is a special build and we may see a Roadster but IMO Aston builds beautiful coupes- tough wrapping my head around an Aston built V6 at 1M. If this was a detuned V12 Cosworth would be an easy decision.
  19. True but it's easy to build the same thru Ad Personam especially with a roadster. AV stays around for 2 years - guessing there is another above the J https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/f...an-lamborghini
  20. Two roadsters - assumed there would be a limited 63LE roadster JOTA. Guess they realized one could get very close thru AD Personam to the 63LE coupe
  21. 1 of 1 Bugatti is a lot less then you and others in the media are stating . Additional post was an overview of the market and the choices based on my opinion . JOTA is a continuation of the AV is impressive good looking but for those with an SV not sure it's worth the move vs what else is out there. Nice video of the CGT - thinking about putting mine for sale after seeing :)
  22. Actually has 1178 miles - had to check. Own 10 weekend cars - take the 600 miles on avg per year with long winters that's a lot of driving. Agree - which is why I am leaning towards skipping the JOTA and keeping the SV.
