  1. Sounds good but doesn't give me the tingly the Pre-LP car does.

  3. Agree. The show could be cool but the group of guys is pretty douche-y.
  4. I have waited for years for a proper set of paddle shifters. The ones available to date have been stuck on afterthoughts. These are the real deal full metal replacements. They need 25 buyers before it goes to production. http://www.klautosports.com/index.php/prod...ghini-gallardo/ There is group buy info on the other Lambo forum. I do not have any ties to the company but I know they make good products and I really want this to happen so I can get my set. You will see my name on the list.
  5. Alot of people complain about the light switch nature of gen 1 ccb. I like them and feel they make the car more unique of a drive. They look cool and no dust is killer. I looked at an sts but can't go back to steel.

The host is the biggest wanker I can think of. What kind of genuine moron thought anyone would like to look at or listen to him. Total toolbox.
  7. With two young boys myself, I can't imagine anything worse. Things like this remind me exactly why I tossed organized religion in the garbage bin.
  8. Wow you are really a turd...insulting the entire board. Good riddance. Hopefully someone really does put your email on blast.
  9. I plan to take my little man for his first ride in the Lambo soon now that he is about to be 2. I had to order a new key for the passenger airbag so I can turn it off.
  10. We have a couple Peg Perego and have been happy with them. We thought the Recaros were inferior to them.

I plan to cover most of the car expenses for my son some day. But we are going to have a deal that if he does dumb stuff, such as outlined above, he will start paying for things. Things like DUI will have his car sold before he wakes up the next day. Triple digit speeding on public roads may also have similar consequences. Basically he will know the consequences before he chooses to take the risks.
  12. I thought the forward view was quite compromised compared to my G. If you are the first car at the stoplight, you can't see the lights without bending down even with the visors up. R8 has significantly better visibility and would be my choice if I had to daily.
  13. Did two rounds with Skip Barber. Some of the best money I ever spent. Tons of fun, time with my pops, better driver, etc. I did find the SB cars a bit run down the second time around though. I plan to go again some time but will probably try a different school. BTW I did the open wheel race schools. Edit: It was also a bit humbling. I thought I was a much better/faster driver than I was when I got there. I improved alot and have a long ways to go yet.
  14. It still could have been much better overall. And it is basically another Reventon rebody cash grab.
  15. This. I don't hate it as much as I originally thought but I think a bigger fixed wing would balance out the rest of the kit and make it look less cockroach from the side profile. Maybe someone can PS an SV type wing on it. Also, I think the front 3/4 view looks odd with the diffuser squeezed in. I think they should have left the area open behind the wheel but have a small part of the diffuser extend outward. I might reduce the fang on the rear of the sideskirt at the same time. Sorry for the awful graphic work.
  16. Definitely some nice individual parts but they do not play well together. Not as horrible as I thought but still do not want. Minor complaint - why are there imperfections in the surface of the front badge? That should be perfect on a car of this $$. Edit: No carbon engine brace seems pretty lame.
  17. I think your friend is exaggerating about being facked because he can't get a GT3. He decided that the welfare of his child/family is more important than his own personal satisfaction with a material object. I have made similar statements, but in jest around the guys. I would give up everything I have to have my son - as long as I could provide enough for him to have an adequate life. Child >>>>>>>>>>>> GT3 Note that the last statement was made after having him. Had you asked me before, I probably would have said no to the kid and kept on living in my little bubble, not knowing everything I was missing. You absolutely can't relate without a kid of your own. It changes you - and I think for the better.
  18. this ugly piece of s*** makes me want to sell my Lambo and pretend I never owned one. seriously f****** horrible even if that is just a render I bet the real thing looks 90%. stil hideous
  19. There is some truth to that. But most find those moments of happiness worth the miserable exhausted times. I am in that camp. Looking back, I would have done it earlier when I had more energy. Need Red Bull to keep up with em.
  20. I will add that I have less stress after having a child. So many things that seemed important or bothered me are now completely insignificant. Yes there are a few new stresses introduced but they are feel more worthwhile, like keeping them happy and healthy. A bad day at work ends when I come home and see a smiling child bounding toward me, just happy to have me back in his presence. The increase in smiles and laughter in our home is truly immeasurable. I was pretty content not having kids. Life was good. I think it would have continued to be good since I would not know what I was missing out on. Spending time with other people's kids, even relative's kids is nowhere close to your own.
  21. There may be a few that think like that but I would not take it that literally. When I had my first child, I felt like I had purpose and a reason for being on this planet. I had a renewed focus on work so I can best provide for my family. Obviously I had enough reason to live prior to kids or I wouldn't have made it to the point to have them in the first place. Hanging out with friends, helping out parents, driving fast cars and chasing women is more than enough reason to stay alive. If my child was gone, no way would I off myself...unless maybe it was my fault. I don't know that I would be strong enough to live with that guilt.
