My Murcie, A Love Affair, or Nightmare? Updated daily.
THIRDGEN replied to ComputerXpress1's topic in Archived Content
Sorry to hear about this nightmare. Good advice about picking the cheapest car. thenewbruno needs to pay close attention here about this buying experience. He was on the 99 diablo roadster thread suggesting the cheap cars that are out there and forgoing the market prices for good cars. -
I have no problem with a man changing his opinion on a matter in which he had been fed incorrect information on originally. If it is for our benefit especially. In this case it is without a doubt.

Very nice choice in wheels! Stunning car!

I guess we know the market price now. When you find a car you like you need to move on it in my opinion. The car is for you and no one else. Make yourself happy and don't worry about price opinions.

Again, it is stunning and will bring big coin. Just work your best deal and buy it. You will be very happy I'm sure. Offer 20k less and work your way up from there. Its for sale so you guys will be able to work something out. Opinions are useless on a car you want and love. I love it! I have no dog in the hunt but I say pay your lowest worked out price and get it in your garage. If you think you are paying too much, who cares. They are holding big value and I think the bottom has already arrived. Most cars that went up crazy have come back to a stable resting point in my opinion. A 99 Roadster is super rare, How many are for sale? Jump on that beauty!

I think off topic issues on a car forum are not for me. None of this is very fruitful in the long run. No minds will change, aggression forms, Lol I will just stick with the Lamborghini machine.

Take it right back where it all got rebuilt. Virtually impossible to troubleshoot with the info given. I know there is a learning mode that it can be put in. Techs can do it for sure. Was yours ever done? Disconnect the power to the battery for a few minutes. Reconnect and drive it for 10 minutes or so. It may fix itself.

Anyone know this car / value? '12 SL Balloon White
THIRDGEN replied to CallMeJarob's topic in Archived Content
40% for those miles is awesome. Someone really knew how to baby it if that is the original clutch. Most of the wear comes off new clutches in the first 5k miles. 60-70% left in the first 5k is normal so only 60% wear on that car is outstanding. I would have a tough time buying a car with those miles from a non Lambo dealer that knows how to completely go through the car and make it right. Michael at Norwood is the top two Lambo Techs in the nation in my opinion so Let him do your PPI if he hasn't already and you will be good. He worked for Lambo Dallas 15 years. -
Needs gloss on interior pieces as well.

I love the marble look! I had all the carbon on my Huracan clear coated instead of the mat and it looks like this. That's all they did. Not saying it looks better than weave but it looks very high end and classy.

+1 Those gaskets typically look like that on the outside but aren't leaking. No 02 sensor after them so don't bother with it unless you hear a leak when it is running.

If its Lambo Dallas it will be a solid car for sure. Bought 9 cars from them in the past 14 years. Perfect experience every time. -
does anyone know the history of this Gallardo?
THIRDGEN replied to CARZ's topic in Automobili Lamborghini
I agree. I would not worry about it. Call them and discuss the history. Most of those cars had manual trans so that is not so rare that it would move the mark much. Standard wheels. Miles look good. Looks pretty nice. -
Don't believe everything you see...

Socialized medicine is very complicated and a lot of good doctors are not interested in having their income controlled by the government. No Thanks for me. Logic by itself screams that it sucks.

For everyone of these statements I can find a Canadian that says it is terrible.

Lol, works every time!

She said she drank 24 beers "tonight", not every night....

Sounds nice as long as you guarantee it to work. I found sitting electronics go bad much quicker than working ones.

Lets see, variable timing for cams (big technology btw) verse standard timing, fixed headlights vs pop up and major instrument panel change. Like I said big difference between the two and the price reflects it. The 99 will always command a bigger price in my opinion. Most think the instrument panel is much nicer that the previous cars and it is pre 6.0. Not knocking your car if you have a pre variable timing but it is a noticable horsepower difference and it will always top the previous years in value. Love that car in silver btw. Also love the wheels. Just one persons opinion : )

This same car? http://www.ebay.com/itm/2005-Lamborghini-M...vId&vxp=mtr

Sure, the cars with mileage and other concerns that were priced with the ones that did not have those concerns. That's not the market dropping that's cars being adjusted to what they were or are worth. I know you are hoping and there is nothing wrong with that and you can justify just about anything to talk the market down so it will come down because you are a buyer. Its not a buyers market. That is clear. Good luck.

This is exactly what I mean. Chipster has been around so sound advice for sure. Apples to apples is the key when comparing.
