  1. Where are my Diablo experts?
  2. Are Diablo secondary cats interchangeable between 91 and 2001? The part numbers are different and from what I gathered there are 3 different versions. This is for secondary cats, as early Diablo do not have primary cats.
  3. how about a biohazard sign or a cross skull? Hahaha
  4. Any lead paint would have been covered by now several times. You can get it tested but I doubt it will yield much
  5. Just get the bmc filter
  6. The shifter doesn't mount flush. Those are some ugly wheels. The flush door pulls look unique and the engine bay is nice. Personally, I don't really get into frankenstein cars.
  7. That would make sense. ^^^ Car looks very clean still!
  8. Car is in Henderson and Las Vegas area. Is there a Lambo service shop other than the dealer? I think most people would service at dealers while the car is under warranty. The lack of service is a concern for sure. Car looks good but I would definitely like to know service history. Carfax doesn't show everything but the selling dealer should chase it down for you
  9. I found a few folks on Craigslist that pulled carfax for $4. Very easy in case you don't find a friend here to help
  10. That budget may get you a very nice example. Good luck!
  11. I think this recently changed. But I would contact Lambo NA or Italy in case you have special needs. The standard factory tour lets you into the assembly line. As far as I know, you may be able to meet executives for photo if you have a hook up.
  12. To clean, I use a towel with warm water.
  13. Brake fluid is every year or two. That is the most neglected fluid. Engine oil can last two years easily. Definitely a year for sure. Coolant is somewhat subjective. I recommend every 5 years and 7 max. Gear and trans fluid are not subject to time. A lot of shops push for this as part of annual service and just pocket the money because you don't really have a way to check.
  14. You don't need injector service.mflid change should be 3 hrs. $1700 for labor is excessive.
  15. Just book it on Lambo website. You don't even need to an owner
  16. Why don't you take a few pics of the drive way? With front lift up, I have yet to scrape if I angle. I have never high centered ever. The lift is pretty high. Also, pre lp allows manual height adjustment too
  17. No such thing as 8 years service Check your manual for service interval against your mileage. Most likely, you need plugs, brake fluid, engine oil, coolant flush, trans fluid, cabin filter, air filter and an inspection. This would run you $3-4K
  18. You can hv the buttons refurbished. Try stickynomore.com
  19. Scud is a beautiful car. While aging, it still remains as a top choice of my acquisition list. I hope you find more owners to share the experience.
  20. Yes just get brembo bbk, it is the same unit as the ones for murci I believe. 6 pot front and 4 rear. The later murci uses gallardo brakes. I wonder if g brakes fit early Diablo. Probly not.
  21. Michelin pss is best. Check eBay and tire rack for best prices.
  22. I opened the door card and AAA was able to put the door back to unlocked position. The actuator rod has a clip that is now disconnected to the locking latch mechanism. The plastic clip has disintegrated. Anyone know where to get that? Is there a generic part I can use?
