  2. awesome sound & very unique at that...envious of the nice dry roads, up here not so much! read: snow
  3. It came to life after three startup/shutdown cycles...I've had this happen once before previously. Before I just did nothing and it came to like on it's own. From what I gather it's not unusual for this happen...Lol!
  4. wow, just love that post...especially with the crazy (read: snowy) weather up here in the wet coast...er I mean white coast
  5. Sooo cool and along with the music, it's even more cool. Thanx for sharing this!!
  6. I'm not sure if this subject has been addressed on LP but today I went out did a start-up and the MMI screen was blank. Did a shutdown, restart same thing. After the third start MMI screen came to life..any ideas??
  7. Oh I forgot the Canadian MSRP includes $17,995 CAD freight & PDI, which means closer to $46K in options
  8. Good point, the paint option on my current AV (Grigio Iris) would be $13.5 USD alone..
  9. the post says MSRP..so it's $64K on options, which most likely is a sparce build...
  10. Gee thats approx $581 USD, is that a good price??
  11. When borrowing money, Banks look at cash flow ie/ income when determining credit risk. You could have a million dollars sitting in the bank but if there is no cash flow because your retired or you just don't need to work period they will frown on a loan. That being said if your cash flush why would you want to borrow money anyway unless your into leveraging! I've noticed that some financial institutions will request bank statements verses employment records or tax returns to determine your loan eligibility, which will accurately reflect your net worth, the downside is that consumers may not want that information in the hands of lenders.
  12. Thanx, The car was still drivable but my dealer here in Vancouver was great, had the car shipped (covered truck) into the dealer. It was still under warranty! Once they did the diagnosis I had to wait for a week due to parts from Italy, car was shipped home yesterday. Nice to see her back in the barn....

    Salomondrin.....

There was a Canadian owned 918 that burned to the ground as a gas station, I think the owner sued Porche..
  14. I've done the hat and two sets of running shoes, mainly because with my two purchases (Huracan & Aventador) the dealer gave me 2 - $500 gift certificates! The shoes are actually very decent quality! as far as other items with "Lamborghini" all over them I'm not the type to walk around as a living advertisement for the brand...Lol!
  15. Turned out to be faulty O2 sensors as some previous posters mentioned...thanx for the insight!

I agree, it's more of an opportunity that has presented itself...
  17. Good report, when they do good Lambo lovers benefit...
  18. crap, I hope this doesn't come north to British Columbia, under our illustrious NDP socialist provincial Government they will probably want to follow suit...
  19. great video, I love the tech improvements on the S but not too fussy about the cosmetic changes, namely the front!...and well the Countach is just perfect, wing or no wing!
  20. Could the existing chassis be modified without a major modification to accomodate the DCT. Granted the existing platform is not compatible, but if your coming to us with a so called new Aventador replacement, I'm sure it wouldn't take a hugh amount of R & D to fit that into the platform. It seems most will give a big sigh of disappointment if this aspect is not done, my guess is they Lambo will make the transition to a DCT for this next gen model.
  21. very cute, shared it with all my relatives, especially the one's with kids....
  22. Count me in this number, out on Christmas eve for a short run and low and behold the CEL light accompanied by a "StartStop Fault system not ready" Did a few startup's and shutdown to see if it would go away, but to no avail. Looks like a run to the dealership in the New Year. Should I be concerned driving it?
