  1. Isn't that 25% just disgusting, that's 10% over and above the previous tax for what? So lets say the car is $800K CAD add $200K CAD for tax and your at the magic $1,000,000 mark (assuming of course you have no trade-in).. Good luck on your allocation!
  2. Ya your right, dummy me...its was my early morning post before my first dose of coffee!
  3. Does the wing retract somewhat the first pic it looks down the second pic the wing is up?
  4. Canadian Recall Notice: published in June 2018 http://wwwapps.tc.gc.ca/Saf-Sec-Sur/7/VRDB...Result&pg=0
  5. Thank you for this, not sure how this will be dealt with for us in Canada, but I'll followup with the dealership. Appreciate the head up!
  6. I just leave them in the garage if I'm out for the day and no precip in the forecast, although I did get caught once when a light shower came up unexpectantly, just drove fast(quite fast) so the drops went over the cabin...Lol
  7. It's the don't ask don't tell question...
  8. What a great video and to think your just down the road from me (well a few km down the road..Lol) Those cars, wow!!
  9. haha, never though of it that way....
  10. Thanx for that, I don't get the shudder but probably worth having the dealer examine because I've no other 700 to compare. The 740 was a whole lot crisper on the start out in 1st is my only comparison, but I know they tuned that aspect up for the 740.
  11. Been looking through the threads & this one seemed to fit my bill. I was out on the weekend and my pax said feels like the clutch is slipping when starting out is 1st gear. I said it's a ISR single clutch so it's not going to be like DCT off the mark. But it got me wondering, is mine too slow off the mark?? I've driven a LP740 and it's improved in this area a fare bit. I've not driven other LP-700's so I'm not sure if mine is totally normal or not. My dealer did say bring it in if your concerned but he doesn't think it's out of the ordinary. Appreciate any long time LP-700 people could comment further on this or add some further commentary. RDW
  12. I've had the same anomaly with the start button. Dummy me I just thought it was normal! The car always does start but as mentioned one has to either wait for the starter to kick-in or re-cycle the start button. I found sometimes putting the paddles to neutral gear get the start right away. I know its supposed to automatically select neutral on the start selection however I've noticed that doesn't always happen so I just help it out. But I'm thinking I might just get the tech's to look into this, perhaps a new start box or whatever it needs should be done since I'm still under warranty.
  13. ISR on the AV is one reason I dumped the Huracan, maybe that sounds crazy but for my driving pleasure the AV is hands down a better experience....

  15. CARFAX is a business that supposedly protects the consumer, the dealers promote it as your protection. As shown it's nothing more than a sugar pill until you discover one day the reality that your car was a 1. write-off 2. flood damaged 3. salvage and who knows what else.
  16. Wow, that's music to my ears, I've got 6600km on my 2016 AV-700 roadster...but plan to pack on quite a few this summer...
  17. something like the "don't ask don't tell question"
  18. That is totally disgusting, so much for for consumer protection. Didn't 60 minutes or someone do a piece on Carfax and found it's not reliable and in many cases just plain wrong about a cars history. Worst if I recall was flood damaged cars making it onto the dealer lots with no reported history of such.
  19. Check out this Canadian 2017 AV roadster for sale with 16,200 miles on it (26,098km)..wow!! some nice driving for a years worth of ownership, nice to see the car being driven. http://www.grandtouringautos.com/inventory...9+Solid+1747729
  20. ...and the beat goes on "sung to the tune of Sonny & Cher"
  21. HP is one thing, performance is another...if the SVJ can set some impressive N times, bragging rights will return for the big A. All that said the looks "bragging rights" will still be intact regardless....
  22. If Ferrari can pull over 800 hp out of their Ferrari 812 Superfast 6.5 litter V-12 NA, one wonders why Lambo wouldn't go all in for this supposed final SVJ version and pump out 800++ HP?? Of course that is if it is the final final...
  23. Im looking at adding a 2017-18 Corvette Z0-6, 650 hp 650 torque, pretty good value for the dollar...no it's not an exotic, but as mentioned the fun factor and the best of both worlds is a pretty good draw for me anyway..IMO
