your really missing the point, the veyron is perfect as it is. it was a detailed thought out car that was built from conception to production to be what it is today. you dont buy a dali and start putting your own final touches on it. when you have the veyron there is no point to do anything else; an exhaust - for what? loud exhausts are obnoxious and annoying. im at a point where when i think of a loud exhaust it reminds me of a 30k millionaire who wants to "be seen", pretty lame if you ask me. people with overleveraged finances to buy a carrera gt and a person who is able to buy a veyron have 2 different thought processes, one is looking for significance and the other has it faster - do you really think some tuner is smarter, has more money and or logistics to build a better car than the engineers at bugatti? i mean really think about this one, all the money bugatti spent on building this car all the mathematics and engineering that went into it, do you think some tuner strapping twin turbos onto cars can really add on or create something better? get real

why would you want an exhaust on a veyron? that would take away from the car i had a veyron fly by me while i was eating dinner outside a restaurant and the sound was like nothing else, its refreshing in a way. usually you know when a lambo/ferrari with an exhaust is coming; its got that f1 sound you can hear from a block away. with the veyron when it blasts by you it almost sounds like a jet

if you work in the financial district/ bunker hill and dont want to be one of those assholes who sits in traffic for an hour+ everyday to drive back and fourth from hollywood/beverly hills/ valley and you dont want to drop the extra $$ to live in the wilshire corridor then living in dtla is an option but yeah i do agree, not the best area to live in atleast not yet. give it 20+ years for more development in that area

that would make sense but if he lived at lets say the ritz which is in la live the cops cant say...."oh well you dont have a ticket to be at the game so you cant go home until friday 6 am" and then again, a 2004/2005 gallardo is in the what 100-120k range? ok other cars in that range; 2007 s65/2008 s63, 2007 911tt, so what if the owner had one of those cars and not a gallardo and wanted to go to the laker game? what would be his choice? to take his car or a towncar/ limo? taxi? just because he bought a gallardo and its a "lamborghini" doesnt necessarily mean its some sacred car which only "ballers" can buy. if he drove it great, wouldnt be much different than driving a 997tt, and if that was trashed in the riot by those idiots would you guys care? probably not

i would skip on buying a pos 4k watch, you dont NEED a watch. in this day in age ive noticed you wear a watch (a nice watch) when you have the $$$, nobody buys a 100k+ watch because it tells time better than a $100 watch but its the concept of the fact its $100k+. i personally dont wear a watch, yet. i dont need one, i have a phone that tells time. i will buy a nice watch ( the term "nice" is subjective) when i have the extra money to do so in the meantime i focus my time and energy on making it happen, instead of budgeting my finances to decide between a 4k or 5k watch

i sold half of my appl calls and holding the other half, im being greedy and want alittle more gain on them. calls are the only way to play appl, actually its the only way ive been trading for the past 2 years, options and etfs. once you learn how to trade options, stocks are a waste of time just because of the added security of being able to hedge my positions with options and still comming out in profit regardless of what happends

i dont think a car is your problem, have you thought about starting or buying a business? you need to occupy your time, it seems you have too much free time to let your mind wander, and are possibly getting bored with life in general.

the trend? it depends on where you live. in los angeles depending on which area; not only are there no "for sale" signs but people are tearing down and rebuilding homes. allot of real $$ is comming in and taking advantage of cheap labor, low prices, and low interest rates. i was looking at a house and in that same neighborhood there were 3 other homes being rebuilt, i checked on zillow and one of them was only 4 years old before they tore it down. the house i was looking at was bought 3 days after, anything thats for sale in a good area isnt going to last
