  1. It looks like a car seat?? Romandad- You're so cute, and...furry
  2. My husband and I do this all of the time. Last year we drove to Monterey (him in the Countach, me in the Diablo) and it was a blast. I actually prefer taking two cars because then I have more room for my shoes But seriously, we have both packed into the Diablo and found max capacity. If you pack right, the front boot can hold 1 large carry-on size suitcase, 1 average duffle bag on top, shoes and misc. packed loose around the two bags. I take a shopping bag that folds flat to put the shoes/misc. in once we get to our destination.
  3. That's great!! How the hell do you fit camping equiptment into a Murci?
  4. It will look so much better after it's repainted, but here's some for now. The red one belongs to a friend of ours, we were just keeping it until the truck showed up.
  5. They do fit fine, but the doors are fairly hard to close. I went on a run yesterday and after a few times closing them, you do feel it. I am a little concerned when it starts to get hot out that it will be really difficult. You may want to go with Shamile's suggestion. I may change out mine.
  6. Thanks, alot of people have a hard time believing it is mine, hence the license plate. I managed to get them done because I finally decided I needed professional help, so I took it into the shop I attempted to do them myself and after several hours and many upcoming chiropractor bills found that this is: 1) not a 1 person job and 2) a serious pain in the ass. Basically what needs to be done is to remove the door panels, remove the shock (you need someone else to hold the door up while you do this) re-use the end of the old shock (the new one dosen't come with the ball on one end) reinstall. As far as the frozen hinges, I'm not sure what they did to make those work again. I will ask on Monday.
  7. Ok, finally got them replaced. Once we got the door completely apart (pain in the ass) we realized that there was nothing wrong with the shocks. The problem was the hinges that the doors swing up on. Called the dealer--they wanted over $1000.00 ea for new hinges!! Needless to say we fixed the old ones! Unfortunatly, that requires removing the doors (extreme pain in the ass) !! I figured since we had everything apart, we might as well replace the shocks with Murci shocks. SO COOL!!! The doors raise by themselves!!
  8. Being able to reach the pedals might be useful as well I'm starting her off in go carts. I figure when she's around 10 or 11, we'll try a real car. Not a Lambo of course!!
  9. I thought it was cute, real or not. Who knows by the time my daughter is that girl's age, we may make a real vidoe of her driving She's already practicing (see pic below). She loves being picked up at school in one of the cars and is constantly telling me "go faster mommy!" I am in trouble....
  10. You guys are like the CIA with "spy shots"
  11. All of this avatar talk made me decide to change mine to something more personal.
  12. Ha Ha Even though you do clean up nice, I gotta say that pic is "so you" Here's the only pic I could find of me in my car.
  13. How about a Moody wing w/ the larger vertical supports, as on the Wolf car, or ours???? This is truly the original "wing". The back edges of each vertical are at the rear end line of the trunk lid.
  14. I guess I was a little naive, I had no clue it would be that much!!
  15. Damn. Sniper bids got it. Hopefully another will come up someday. It went for $1500. It was sitting around $200 for several days and then shot up at the last minute. I just hope it is actually going into a car that was intended to have it and not just in someones trophy case! I wonder if anyone here got it? BTW thanks again for the heads up!!
  16. I will let you know. Keep your fingers crossed for me!! ps. Thanks for editing your post
  17. Does anyone have detailed info on how to replace the door struts in a 97 Diablo Roadster? Is this something that might fall under the DIY category? I tried Lamboweb. They had detailed instructions on how to remove the engine, but not door struts...go figure... Also a non-Lambo part # would be helpful too. Thanks in advance.
  18. Yep that's the one. Thanks!!
  19. Top Carbon, I believe this is you... http://www.car-parazzi.com/display/index.c...isplay=CarPage2 OK. I am apparently not computer inclined. I found you on page 8 on this site in the diablo section. Obviously I am having problems actually linking to your picture. There were also a few pictures after that.
  20. Hey!! I own a camera!! Now I just need a paint job
