  1. Ok, so I have the perfect picture to post here but I seem to be fairly incompetent with my iPhone. Can somebody tell me how to post a picture from my phone to here?
  2. So, Dave is feeling left out since both you and Gordon have been on the show. He's wondering if his new addition of fuzzy dice will get his Hyundai onto the show??
  3. What a douche!! Just kidding!! I thought the car looked great!! You looked very cool, calm, and collected
  4. I feel your pain...my daughter is in 4th grade. I am grateful every day that my brother is an elementary school teacher. They send home things I've never heard of to categorize without any reference materials. Unless you are an elementary school teacher you have no idea what they are talking about because theyre teaching "new math" and "new English". I'm sorry but I'm having a really hard time trying to figure out what was wrong with the "old" way of teaching when 2+2 actually equalled 4!!!
  5. Damn, I guess the really good threads on this topic were lost in the crash....
  6. It was a lot of fun! It would have been better if you guys would have been there! Everyone was asking where the crazy Vegas crew was
  7. Ha Ha....Made you look Actually hoping someone could point me in the direction of one of the "what do you guys do for a living threads". I tried to search, but I am apparently inept with the whole search thing. I was telling one of my friends how hilarious those threads were and now I can't find one. Help please!
  8. Thanks for not going after the inactives RomanDad. I'd be in trouble!
  9. There's actually 3 that I know of
  10. Thanks Roy, are you willing to break up the set?
  11. Hey guys, I have a friend with a 99 roadster who had a blow out earlier today. Unfortunatly by the time she could get to the side of the freeway, the wheel was trashed. Anybody have a lead on a front 18" roadster wheel? Thanks!!
  12. It is sadly true, and yes his family does know.
  13. I had a woman make a similar comment to me and I told her that she was the one putting her kids in danger since my car did much better in crash tests than hers did I don't drive my daughter in it very often, but it is her favorite car. It is the best sleep aid I have found. That purring V12 puts her to sleep every time!
  14. It's funny that you say that because, if you take Romandad's post and replace B of A with Wells Fargo, it would be how I feel about them. I have always liked B of A (as much as you can like any bank) but Wells Fargo is always trying to piss me off. One example: They CHARGE me to deposit cash!! WTF!!!
  15. Congrats!!! Being a parent is the most rewarding experience ever!!
  16. It would also be classy to not be leaning on your car
  17. What is sad is that this is how these people are raised. Most of the people like this have never been out in the world to know better. I spent 4 years in Oklahoma and when you got away from the city into the countryside, you met people like this. They have never left the 10 mile radius of their little town. I used to get upset but then I realized that they didn't know any better, they didn't think that it was wrong, and it wasn't worth my time and energy to get so frustrated. I am the product of an interracial marriage. I think I turned out ok. BTW my parents were married for 34 years until my father passed away in 2003.
  18. Not everybody can tell the difference. I am quite sure that he never expected to meet up with a girl in the bar that could tell the difference. In his defense, other than the Murci engine cover, the exterior wasn't too far off. The width was actually close. The wheelbase seemed a little short, but the interior was just a mess. leather cover over the shifter, gauges in the wrong place. The dash had the swoop of the 99's but that was about it. This was what I could tell from a 30 second inspection in the dark. I am sure in the daytime with a few less drinks, I would have been able to pick out more
  19. Congratulations!!! I'm sure all of your hard work will pay off big time!!!
  20. That's why I think pump action shotguns are best for home security. They serve several purposes. A. When you chamber a round they make a VERY distinctive sound. There isn't a criminal anywhere who doesn't know that sound. The intruder will hightail it out of there, a family member will say something. B. You don't have to have a perfect aim to bring someone down. I don't care how good of a shot you are on the practice range, it won't be the same with the adrenaline pumping. In that situation, I'd take a shotgun over a handgun any day. I agree with the alarm and the dog, they will alert you that something is wrong. If my alarm is going off, I am NOT going to go running around the house trying to find out why. The cops are on their way, that's their job. I will be in one room with my husband, my daughter and my dog. They can have anything else in the house, but if they come through that door, they will die. Plain and simple.
