Unless they're offering to paint the white one orange I don't think it's a p-shop. LM002 Americas were like 1992's if I remember correctly, and yes, they had alloys. This seems to just be a 1989 with a newer engine. With that dealer, well I wouldn't trust the stuff in the ad. Unless someone can prove otherwise, with documentation, I'd assume it just had the engine replaced at some point. Yes, it's overpriced, and if you're interested I'd go see it in person, and proceed with caution. As for the ex-Tina Turner LM with the Merc engine, that thing has been for sale for YEARS - And will be for many many more at the price they wanted for it the last time I noticed.

The Prowler is a POS and no matter what you do to it it will still be a POS. If you want a hot rod go buy a real one, or have a shop build what you want.
