West was the best at what Batman was then, same with Bale and Keaton. The story and the way it was told are very different so it is hard to compare. Kilmer and Clooney were not even close to Keaton, Shannon will not be... well.. anything, shit sandwich?

Are you still planning on going to see it? Like I told my wife, it's a Superman movie with a cameo from some "special" guy pretending to be Batman. No interest here. Robocop, XMen, Captain America, Spider Man, and a new Mad Max should all be out next year.. it'll be alright.

Ok, dress respectfully or google it, whatever. Just trying to let the guy know he was probably just going to sit in a big room with a slew of random folks for most of the day and then go home instead of sitting in a court room for the day.

I agree with you there, again my opinion on this is localized to my county. I may have voiced too much opinion without reason, but we are in the OT section, I was not anticipating judgement. Are you asking to see my in my underwear? Joking again, please don't take offense to that. We are in the OT forum and a member posts a picture like that asking for captions, I posted something not far off from what most all others that replied as well. All the women in that picture could be beautiful people, I don't know. Does that mean that I enjoy seeing them almost naked, not really. I think it obivous we may have different senses of humor, and thats fine. I'm not judging you or anyone else here with my comments though, please offer me the same courtesy, and if you need clarification on anything I've said feel free to ask.

If there are specific "courtroom rules" I would think it varies by state/county (or really whatever the judge wants you do), if there are no instructions for dress on his summons then he has been given no rules to follow. At any rate even if he does make it to a court room (which is not likely if it is a big county) it will be a very limited time on the first day, maybe 5 min out of 8 hours. If he is selected to come back and serve on a jury the judge will give instructions if they have any. Most likely he will sit in a big room with a bunch of other randomly selected folks for the majority of the day and then released. Of the five times I was dismissed, I did not step in the court once, maybe 5% of the people there actually got put on a jury. When I was on a Grand Jury we went straight into a courtroom and started getting instruction.

In all seriousness this is the best advice. He will be sitting around for a good while. There will be folks there from all walks of life in all different kinds of dress. I wouldn't show up in my pajamas, but un ripped jeans or shorts with a polo or t is just fine.

I spent three months on a Grand Jury, and was highly offended at the lack of respect the public servants in my county have for the criminal justice process. It is kind of a sore subject for me, but thanks for toning down your responce. Have you ever served?

Go one way or the other either dressed up nice where you look too smart or like you woke up in a ditch. I've gotten dismissed 4 times, I showed up for Grand Jury duty hoping to get dismissed again, but unknown to me if your selected to come in for the Grand Jury your already on it
