  1. Lovely stuff and great to see them being used in that way still
  2. As someone that works with software the way they deploy and run the software on pretty much most cars these days is immensely frustrating. Because each car you need to change so much it is like they need to re-design the interface and they never evolve the os. It is thrown together and under resourced and under tested. Whilst IOS11 is no oil painting I do not get why car manufacturers feel the need to ignore apple car play and Android car and then fumble a piece of software together.
  3. When the poster is a blatant spammer of their own YouTube channel...
  4. I believe they limit revs in first and second. I imagine they are doing other tricks to but the performance side is the bit they have definitely got right. Thanks for documenting all this.
  5. For the record 'egg carbon work is right up there with pagani and that is seeing them back to back. Back to lambo though, we want this that and the other from them but their budget is minimal. We all want a pint and they only have a shot glass. These special runs allow quick and easy money to be pumped into the company allowing them to raise the game for the normal production lines.
  6. The more I have seen pics of the Veneno and the details the more I appreciate the design. The coupe is the one off I would love to have but nutty prices. To say it is a re-bodied Aventador is a bit unfair from what I have seen. But why is that a bad thing? Chassis and engine are solid. The tub could be better imo but a redressing with updated tech and bodywork would be interesting. I would welcome rebodied cars over limited editions that have a stripe and interior stitching made from Racing Mongolian goat manes.
  7. Not driven one but have been in one for an hour. Nice interior (shows good things to come from LR) but the touchscreen begs you to touch it and looks really dirty quickly and in addition to that my friend who the car for awhile said that it is distracting. You have to look at what you swipe scroll and that takes your eye off the road. But at least it is nice to look at when it will break down.
  8. Would be odd for a company (VW) to invest in Rimac and then invest in Porsche ehybrid at the same time.
  9. No matter the paint choice it is rolling it in glitter. The most disappointing car to come out of the factory in VWs time imo

China seems annoyed at USA for the constant noise coming from USA. Some of you might not get that what the majority of you being in the states. I agree to a point. Some careful words are needed, USA just do not seem capable of doing that. Flip side I understand that the USA are annoyed that their mates neighbour is building a substantial trebuchet in their back yard. I am surprised that China and even Russia are so laid back about a nuclear power right on their doorstep. After the last hydrogen test by NK China sent scientists to get readings along their border. If China took open steps to tame NK then stability would be easier.
  12. Just waits for people to twig that the OP is the guy in that Vehicle Virgins video...
  13. I like it but has a touch of copying the trend started by "That" 720 MSO in red.
  14. I loved that Murcie edition. But that has not got a wing, a swathe of grey and a Nike-esque swoosh along it which is colour co-ordinated with the wheels.
  15. Reckon you could totally rock some Mr T jewellery in one now
  16. By now we have all seen the Frankfurt performante. I love the performante solidly. I think it is brilliant honestly. I think it is great that they went with a different bold paintwork on it. It shows off the curves and engineered creases... Hang on Wait Have I seen that paintwork before? No, it can't be... Surely not.... They must have known at the factory right....
  17. Presentation at the factory on the 4th of Dec.
  18. Do you kiss your pimp with that mouth? Do yourself a favour, don't come back.
  19. So you sign up today and ask a post about a member? And you do this from a questionable IP. Do you not see how that is odd?
  20. Whilst I mentioned that the gt3 will be different from the r from the gts... https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/motor-sh...ack-images-leak This will still smart a touch
  21. Stay safe everyone apart from Abolfaz who I hope runs out of rum and box sets to watch

"North Korea would rather eat grass than give up their nuclear programme" Vlad Putin. Saying sanctions are pointless and diplomacy the way forward. China needs to step up to the plate rather than censor talk of radiation issues on their border.
  23. How is stacking a tuned car against a production car a level playing field? I seriously don't get this mentality.
  24. When you come into a new role there are bits and pieces likes processes and contracts that your predecessor put into place. They could limit future growth and plans and you have to assess the performance before introducing new function. That is just around the factory and staff before you look at products e.g. Urus etc. You don't come in as new boss and accept every protocol in place. You have to lift up the skirt and see what is under there. As I said with the long product cycles it could be awhile before fruits of his labour are displayed. VCR story relating to Balboni is proof that things go on and we are not aware of and there are bound to be other stories under the numerous rocks.
  25. For clarity on my part, I genuinely think he has a mamouth array of tasks ahead of him, some imposed by Winkie's legacy and some by the pressures above. He did some good stuff with the Ferrari team and acquitted himself well there so I believe the appointment can potentially be a great one. It is hard for a CEO to come out dancing when it is not his project on the table. Would you rather an awesome product or a showy CEO? I recently delivered a huge piece of work at work, took the team to celebrate and the management pointed out that 15% of the project was done by the person that initially took up the project... Winkies work will be a benchmark people refer to But this... http://www.lambopower.com/forum/index.php?...t&p=1289857
