  1. Cars don't get salvaged out for two flat tires and a slightly dented fender. There's more damage done from the accident than the seller is admitting, unless he repaired part of it himself. This reminds me of DrMurcielago stating his salvaged LP640 was salvaged "because it probably had minor vandalism such as stolen taillights." When in fact it was salvaged out due to a vehicle fire.
  2. The name alone kills it for me. TDF - garners its name from the Tour de France endurance races from the 60s/70s that Ferrari partook in. Ferrari is still living off their twilight years when they ruled the supercar market.
  3. Glad you made the right choice. Congrats!
  4. If that 08 car is the Balloon white one in California then STAY AWAY! Just saw a balloon white roadster (same interior with the black piano trim) that had been hit from the front. The color doesn't look balloon white anymore, looks murky white. Balloon white is a difficult color to paint match. Go with the 09. No accident and the red interior is "baller." White interiors only look good when they're fresh from the factory as they get dirty and stain easily.
  5. Even on a Porsche forum it's a no brainer. Are we really comparing a V12 Italian exotic against a Cayman that's in the same class as a M4, corvette, etc.?
  6. My childhood poster car. Congratulations, enjoy it in good health
  7. I'm selling this LOC exhaust system that came with my car. It's loud and high pitched but unfortunately for me it wasn't annoyingly loud. So I switched over to a full straight pipe system (which still isn't loud enough for me lol). Here's a link to what it sounds like (not my car). I don't believe the car in the video has the secondary cat delete pipes so the one I'm selling would be slightly louder than what's in the video. Price is $2,000, it's located in the Los Angeles area. http://youtu.be/NkEzYFFh2lQ
  8. Thanks for the help guys. I'll stick with suede.
  9. I ordered a new steering wheel for my LP640 a week ago and am stuck on whether I should have it wrapped in suede or alcantara. I've read conflicting statements on this forum. Some state alcantara wears out while others say suede wears out and turns "slick." So which is better and which does Lamborghini put on their steering wheels?
  10. Looks perfect now. That color comes alive under the sun.
  11. Sorry I should have mentioned I got Whitout's RWD conversion kit. My point was that a 255/35/19 or 245/35/19 tire would rub. Not sure if a 235/35/19 tire - which is still within the AWD threshold - would rub or not. Thanks I love the 6-speed. It took a while to find one but it was well worth the wait.
  12. I've got 345/30/19 in the rear. My car is dropped an inch all around and I don't have any rubbing issues.
  13. You'll rub against your front bumper with those tires not the fender. My car rubbed with 245/35/19 tires so I had to change them out to 245/30/19.
  14. Congrats on the purchase, it's a beautiful car. Saw it in the showroom floor at Bellevue when I picked mine up.
  15. Those roof scoops beautiful car Allan
  16. No word back from the previous owner (the guy I sold it to). I'll keep an eye open hoping it'll pop up on the market. If anyone sees it listed anywhere in the future please PM me.
  17. That's the one, thanks for the link. I'll give him a call
  18. I received a private message from someone stating they work for Kronos Composites and that they make a LP670 kit for my 640. I can't find any info on them online except for a fairly new instagram page. Before I wire them money, I want to make sure they're a real company and not a scam. Has anyone dealt with them before?
  19. Unfortunately I just experienced this first hand. The sub $275K days are long gone unless you're looking at a undesirable example.
  20. I sold my Gallardo about 2 years ago but lost the buyers contact number. I want to buy the car back and was hoping someone could get me in contact with the owner. Any help is appreciated.
  21. Not yet, I'm out of the country till the 19th. It's first on my list of things to do when I return. I'll let you know how it sounds.
  22. Nice pics! Let me know when you guys go next time, I'll come with the LP640
  23. Lambo91 - I had done a search and read that thread before posting. That thread only talks about SPE and a polish kit. Was wondering if there are anymore kits available. And thank you for posting the other link. I know he's a shady seller when it comes to selling salvaged cars but figured a body kit is a body kit. If anyone has purchased the kit previously and says the figment is as good as it is in the pictures then it can't go wrong.
  24. I had RSC's 570 kit on my previous Gallardo and the difference was night and day. So I'm looking to update the front bumper, side skirts, rear bumper, and wing on my 640 to look like a 670. I called SPE but at 54K for their kit they're smoking crack (no offense intended). I know they're a sponsor here but let's be real a new M3 sticker price for aftermarket bumpers? Not gonna happen, I'd rather spend a little more and buy OEM parts from Lamborghini. I've seen the Premier kit but the rear end looks nothing like a 670. So that leaves me wondering what my other options are. I found this kit online and was wondering if anyone has any previous experience with it. Based on the pictures the figment seems spot on. Any info or recommendations would be greatly appreciated, thank you. http://m.ebay.com/itm/LAMBORGHINI-MURCIELA...5818?nav=SEARCH
