  1. No word on casualties, potential multiple shooters, one supposedly on 32nd floor of mandalay bay, swat teams, metro and streets closed off. Live feed from a friend of mine https://www.facebook.com/feedlebom/videos/10155659020192440/
  2. Car is finally of stands. Still working on a brake solution. Found a clutch solution for the clutch master. Did some mock up spacers, will need to make a cnc'd spacer for it for final fit, and of course to ensure that my calculations will work for the bore size. But the suspension is in, axle shafts in, working on brakes and clutch hydraulics, slap interior in and GO DRIVE. Yes, my garage is messy right now, deal with it
  3. I'd possibly be down to test once my car is on the road (month or so)

Man if they keep launching stuff over japan, they are going to eventually get angry and whoop some ass. They're like the kid on the playground who picks on people way bigger than they are and the huge kid that's having his chest poked is being as restrained as he can so he doesn't pile drive the little shit into the ground and obliterate him. Meanwhile here's north korea poking and poking.
  5. I would love to see a modern revision of the Espada. Take the old curves, transform to new curves, new v12, some interesting creature comforts and retake on the old interior and still stylish and gorgeous. Something smooth and elegant, still low to the ground and gorgeous, with a ton of power for cruising and the beautiful hum of a v12 still. Kind of like what Porsche did with the Panamera, which basically feels like a modern day 928.
  6. He ended up with 3 awards at the show. The RWB backdate got the people's choice, everyone LOVED it. Sounds amazing too.
  7. Emissary brought his entire collection yesterday to the festival of cars. We went and got a late lunch/early dinner several weeks ago and talked cars. My Jalpa wasn't done in time, so he said he needed someone to drive the Murcielago there and asked if I could do that and I felt super honored and privileged to say, "Um, yes!" Some of you may recognize the car as it is Alex's old ride. It had a hunting idle issue which I came over and helped him do plugs and check for vacuum leaks and look over things and since then it's been purring like a kitten. We ended up in a long line of an Ultima GTR, 2 RWB Porsches (his 964 and 993), his F430 Scuderia, the Murcielago and his friend's viper. Was quite a sight to see on the way to the festival. Up to this point the cars I've been in for Lambos have all been the old vintage cars, and I had never had the chance to do anything other than sit in the newer stuff. So I felt honored and incredibly lucky to have the chance to drive a murci. I found the throttle response to be incredibly epic, though far touchier than most cars I've been in, and certainly not a car to take lightly with TCS off since it'll just go whenever you want it to, but once you get down the sensitive clutch and happy throttle, it shifts, responds and is an absolute dream to drive. What an incredible and beautiful car. The oldest v12 I had had a chance to experience was a very long time ago in a 1st gen diablo at a car show, long long time ago. The amount of power is enough that you can be gentle on the road but it's apparently obvious it has no quarrels opening up when you want it. I can see why people who own them tend to hang onto them. My next car will certainly be a v12. It's incredible how smooth they are. You couldn't really feel the engine in the sense of the wild vibration, or the way the v8 cars are, the sound can't be missed for sure, and the sound of it humming and howling behind you is most certainly the things that dreams are made of. If he hops on and sees this, I just want to give him another huge "thank you" for the trust in driving it, and the opportunity as well. I told him he gets to borrow my Jalpa for a few days as a thank you when it's done. My little 924 creepin' in the background, all jealous of the supercars.
  8. I will wear one made out of toilet paper if it's got the old "life is too short" stuff going on. I've wanted one for ages.
  9. I saw that video the other day and it made me cringe so hard. The fact that he had paid so much and they didn't communicate and he had to be on them CONSTANTLY to get any response is terrible. The customer experience for supercars is something dreams are made of. You want to take your dream, hand it to a shop and have it come back more amazing than before, while getting the best experience of your life. If you can't do that, you shouldn't be working on them. *edit* sorry it was this video i saw. He basically CONSTANTLY texted, called, hardly got any contact, strung along and when he showed up they only had the bumper and exhaust off the car.
  10. Subscribing to this topic because this has always had me fascinated. Mostly because I put a zillion miles on whatever cars I have, but am interested to hear experiences from people with say 90s exotics and the types of things they've faced on low miles.
  11. Unless you know a girl that lives just at the airport and her entire life revolves around helicopters Seriously though, next summer I plan on taking my Lambo over there, we'll have to get some LP people over there and go have some fun.
  12. Everyone around here is pretty much boring. I have met one gal who was completely kickass, and she moved to LA
  13. Huge progress tonight. - Headlights are done, wiring done. - Rear of the car is damn near done being wired up. May need a new brake sensor but that's no big deal. - Bumper wired up - Brake light is put back in and happily sealed. The car is starting to look like one car again. Tomorrow: - Going to get out my old singer, scrape off all the old shit on the trunk, cut new carpet, sew new leather (i hate vinyl) onto the carpet and line the trunk - Finish sealing the interior and lay carpet - Finish wiring up the tail lights - Try to get axles back in and part of the suspension along with the liners of the fender wells. - Clean up some of the sealant around the tail light Bumper isn't back in these pics since I need to connect it to harness.
  14. Lol I need to get out with some LP peeps one of these days.
  15. If you're not enjoying a restoration and not happy with a smile on your face the entire time you do, then I would propose, "What's the point?"
  16. man, i don't even care about comfort, i just want one of those damn shirts. i've been asking foreverrrrrrrrrrrrr
  17. I miss the days of the terrible photoshops we did of allan that ended up as the banner
  18. Figured I'd chime in and ask again, since I know a lot of people have wanted them. Any plans on doing another run of them anytime soon?
